The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

Our specially selected range of snacks, hot and cold food, and our FAVOURITES range will leave your stomach full and satisfied (whilst also leaving room for cake!). Our FAVOURITES include Beef Lasagne, Pie and Mash, and our renowned Ploughman’s lunch! We offer a range of different dishes to cater to different tastebuds. You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. Pre booked for lunch, table was ready on arrival. Good lunch selection, lovely bread for toasties. However drinks service very slow, with 2 pots of tea coming after our sandwiches. Order 2nd drinks but decided to pay and go before they arrived, as also very slow.

Always had good food and service. Decor has improved since new owner took over. Staff are really friendly and helpful

This is the second time I’ve been to 1867 this time it was my sister‘s birthday. She had a balloon on her table. Lunch was amazing. Service was impeccable and on leaving, she was handed a bottle of Prosecco and a card from the team. It made her feel very special and I will be going back again very soon, thank you ladies.

We booked for an afternoon tea. The food was lovely - three different fillings for sandwiches, crisps, small salad, 3 types of dessert and warm scones with cream and jam. You could also have unlimited Americano and tea. Staff were attentive and welcomed our two dogs enthusiastically.
