The 1867 is a renowned licensed eatery at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village, just north of Weedon in Northamptonshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and boutique shops, it’s a perfect spot to meet friends, family, or business associates from across the UK and beyond.

We welcome well-behaved dogs with water and treats on arrival. Open daily from 9:15 am for breakfast, including bank holidays (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day & Easter Sunday). Afternoon Tea is served from 2–4 pm—please pre-book with any dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely wants you to leave feeling better than when you arrived, and we’ll do our utmost to make that happen. Last food orders at 3:00 pm.

The renowned 1867 Breakfast Experience, available 7 days of the week. You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. If you are arranging a table for a special occasion, be sure to tell us all about it in the message box or alternatively, give our crew a call on 01327 342284. Breakfast is strictly served between 9.30-11.30am.

At the 1867 you are spoilt for choice with our lunch and lite bites. Our specially selected range of snacks, hot and cold food, and our FAVOURITES range will leave your stomach full and satisfied (whilst also leaving room for cake!). Our FAVOURITES include Beef Lasagne, Pie and Mash, and our renowned Ploughman’s lunch! We offer a range of different dishes to cater to different tastebuds. Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten free are also available. As usual, the environment is autism friendly and is truly a wonderful place to be. The manager is so awesome and attentive and runs an epic restaurant. Thank you. The food is delicious and consistent.

We have visited the 1867 many times for lunch but have only ordered sandwiches or baguettes (which are always amazing). Today my wife and I decided we would have something hot as a meal - we ordered the chicken, ham and leek pie with mash and veg. We were not disappointed and loved every bit - the pie was even stamped with an 1867 logo - a nice touch. Service was amazing as always, very little wait on the food and great customer service. Would highly recommend.

Love eating here, staff friendly. My only gripe today was that I’d ordered smashed avocado on toasted sourdough and it came with butter spread on the toast and avocado on top never had that before and really it doesn’t need it, enough fat in the avocado.

All food was excellent but the only options for ice cream were vanilla and chocolate. Then we were told that the vanilla was vegan so my friend declined. The chocolate millionaire tart looked and friend said it was The balloons were wonderful , so too was the Prosecco for the 3 now 80 year old birthday girls. Thank you. That was so kind.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and were welcomed with friendly staff wishing us a happy anniversary, we were shown to our table which had been decorated with balloons which was a lovely touch. We went for breakfast and had the half-hearty breakfast which was delicious, everything was very tasty and cooked to perfection. On leaving we were presented with a card and a voucher for 10% off our next visit and 2 miniature bottles of Proscecco! - a very lovely way to celebrate our special day. I would certainly recommend The 1867 the staff are always so helpful and friendly and the food is always delicious.
