The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

If there is anything else we can do for you - please just ask.

Came for a birthday afternoon tea. Food was fresh, added extras for birthday girl, catered for needs and preferences, never rushed. Really enjoyed our time there thank you

I arranged afternoon tea for 4 people including my Dad who is in poor health. The service was brilliant they looked after all our needs, couldn't thank them enough. The food was delicious and well presented. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys an afternoon tea.

Very nice place to have lunch. Nice surroundings and excellent service. Food tasted fresh and was presented nicely. My salmon and prawn wrap was excellent and I would have it again. Other food I saw being served also looked good and I will be returning.

We took the dog and they gave us a great table out the way, grabbed a nice sandwich each. Wish places would check if you don’t mind dressing on a salad but tbh it was all very yummy. The servers are very friendly and hard working. Thank you ☺️

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious food. It checked all the boxes for us, as we were looking for a place to have a late lunch very last minute. They're dog friendly (although we didn't have ours with us at the time, we now know we can have her with us), the food arrived very quickly and was well tasty. The cakes are amazing and a great coffee to finish off. We'll be returning.
