The 1867 is a renowned licensed eatery at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village, just north of Weedon in Northamptonshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and boutique shops, it’s a perfect spot to meet friends, family, or business associates from across the UK and beyond.

We welcome well-behaved dogs with water and treats on arrival. Open daily from 9:15 am for breakfast, including bank holidays (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day & Easter Sunday). Afternoon Tea is served from 2–4 pm—please pre-book with any dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely wants you to leave feeling better than when you arrived, and we’ll do our utmost to make that happen. Last food orders at 3:00 pm.

The renowned 1867 Breakfast Experience, available 7 days of the week. You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. Lovely lunchtime meal again. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Meal always beautiful (especially the coronation chicken). Already booked my next visit. Would recommend booking if you are thinking of eating here as always busy. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Our food was very poor. Two of my guests had ordered toasted sandwiches. When they arrived they were very small and very low value for money. They apparently tasted OK but were embarrassingly meager portions. I had a jacket potato which wasn’t cooked well enough and my partner also had the same item and felt the same way. Their fillings were average. What made it remarkably annoying was the bill for these meals and some coffees and no desserts cost just over £80 which was outrageous. The only saving grace was the pleasant environment and staff. But although we’ve been at this venue several times previously this will be the last time until these faults are rectified. It’s a great pity.

The staff/crew at 1867 are outstanding & so is the food, we came for lunch today for my Husbands birthday, we had a very friendly welcome with the staff wishing him a happy birthday, there was even a ballon at the table, that was a delight made him feel very special, we went there for lunch as my husband wanted the ploughman’s which was the best, he had this on our last visit, the ploughman’s was not a let down just as good as our first visit, I had the steak and mushroom pie, it was delicious, we have to travel to get here, but it is definitely worth the miles, we will be back very soon, as we left the restaurant my husband was presented with a birthday card & bottle of Prosecco from the team, and what a team they were lovely every one of them, well done team keep up the excellent work & vibe, the 1867 is definitely to be recommended. Thank you all.

Super lunch today, we were made to feel very welcome with our three dogs. Lovely coffee, would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Requested to be moved to a lighter position. No trouble and moved within minutes. Nice touch of a card and Proseco after saying it was my birthday on the Sunday.

Booked table on line for lunch. Managed to nip in before for a cuppa. Jackie who greeted us was extremely helpful and friendly. Got great table and lovely drinks. All really friendly staff. Dog friendly too which was great for me as love dogs. Came back for lunch booking. Again staff so friendly and helpful Jackie showed us to our table. Lovely to have a happy birthday balloon on my table as had put was my birthday. Excellent food and drinks. Also a special added touch to have a card and bottle of Prosecco. So thanks again for all your lovely staff. Really appreciated these extras xx
