The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

Very lovely experience. I visited for my 3 year wedding anniversary and they gave us a congratulations ballon along with a cute message. Food was lovely and very quick service. Highly recommend.

I went with my family for a birthday brunch. The staff, food and service were excellent. There were balloons on the table which was a lovely touch but on top of that, I was given a small bottle of Prosecco and a card signed by all the staff when I left…what a thoughtful and lovely gesture. Can’t thank 1867 enough for a very special visit.

I booked a lunch for my friends birthday and was very impressed that the table had birthday balloons around it, they gave her a card and a small bottle of bubbly. I thought it was incredibly kind and really made her day! Thank you so mich

Great location to meet in the middle of England. We had a very very nice breakfast. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. Awesome coffee, specialist tea and great ‘happy’ customer service. Makes a change to go somewhere ‘really nice’.

Took my mum for lunch.The place is lovely with a nice atmosphere and the service was great!.We both had a Jacket Potato with Prawn Marie Rose sauce which was ok.Sauce was a little runny but still tasty.It was very expensive for the lunch! We had 2 jackets potatoes,a lemonade which was £2.75 and what shocked me the most,it was £2.75 for a Lime and Soda! The bill came to over £30 I used to work in a pub and usually the soda if it’s on tap is free!

Took my mum for her birthday, there was a balloon on the table , fantastic food and service - the lady who served us ( curly hair ) was so lovely and genuinely nice and friendly . Would highly recommend this restaurant, I will be going back . They also gave my mum a card and a little bottle of fizz - honestly the best service in a long time .

Not as good as last visit ,my sandwich had to be remade as the bread was dry, my husbands prawn sandwich had bitter leaves in it, which when removed, (as they are not to everyone's taste). left very little room for prawns
