Here’s a more concise version of your review: I recently dined at Thario’s in Carpinteria, and it was an outstanding experience. The meatball pizza to which we added ricotta was a perfect blend of savory and creamy, with the freshness of the ingredients really shining through. The shrimp pesto salad was equally impressive—light, refreshing, and bursting with balanced flavors. To top it off, the mango blueberry pie was a delightful and unique dessert, with the sweet and tangy fruit flavors perfectly balanced. The warm, cozy atmosphere and friendly owner made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Looks like it is the best option.

Wow this place is AMAZING! The food was delicious and the service was great. The food was fabulous. Very authentic and delicious. My wife got the chicken Alfredo dish and I got the spicy shrimp with muscles which did not disappoint.

Thario's is a charming local restaurant--friendly, helpful wait staff; innovative and tasty cuisine; charming ambiance. It would be greatly improved by a better wine list and a proper bar. I recommend this local gem!

Always amazing. One of my favorite Italian places. Very friendly and welcoming staff with great food and one of the most serene outdoor dining areas you can find in SoCal.

Mario and staff are fantastic. The food was delicious. I was disappointed to learn that they did not currently offer eggplant parmigiana, but Mario took my name and phone number and promised to call me when he has it as a special. We had the lasagna and the chicken piccata. It is the best chicken piccata I have ever had.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed on a Friday night. We waited for over an hour to get our food, even a glass of wine. We were seated next to a table of 12 people celebrating a birthday and the sound level was almost unbearable. The interior of the restaurant is very cozy and beautiful. The staff was polite and far overworked. The food was good, but nothing exceptional.

LOVE this place! One of my new faves for Italian! Great vibes, incredible food, reasonable prices, perfect portions. Definitely will be returning and bringing new people.
