Food to die for and as seasoned afternoon tea imbibers this was the best thus far. A wide variety of sweet temptations made it a challenge for any sweet toothed diner. Spacious seating, non pushy waiting staff and a nicely blending pianist made it not just afternoon tea but a delight. The tea range is not as big as other established afternoon tea providers but there was an abundance of choice. One helpful piece of advice and I sincerely hope it’s taken as that is the parking. I had parking and after paying and departing the table we had to wait 15 minutes in the foyer for our car to be brought to the door. My advice is upon paying the waiting staff might enquire if you have parking and flag it electronically to concierge thus avoiding frustration and an overcrowded reception especially as seating in reception is at a premium. Any a lovely experience and will be back after the refurbishment. Can’t wait!!!!! G. Lewis

I dined alone while my husband was at the Grand Prix. The wait staff were kind and attentive and the food was delicious. The cucumber sandwich and scones and clotted cream were divine and the sweets were plentiful to have take away in a gorgeous box. I realize the time went by too quickly when dining alone and look forward to returning with family next go round!

Our second visit, the service is excellent, very professional and friendly. The food is very high quality and the range of teas will satisfy anyone. We will certainly return in the future!!

A wonderful experience! Timothy was attentive but not intrusive. He made us very comfortable and there were lots of special little extra touches for my six year old and extras to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Such an asset to the Thames Foyer! She thought her tea was ‘scrumptious!’ and ours was too! It was a very pleasant treat and a relaxing celebration! We also loved the piano music! Thank you!

Amazing service. Deepak looked after us to perfection. Food is beyond outstanding. Thank you to the team for the lovely note and cake for our anniversary. We have watched the savoy on TV in new zealand and to see it in reality was a dream. Amazing experience.

Absolutely lovely afternoon tea at Thames Foyer. Great attentive service. Recognised I was celebrating my birthday. our server ‘Danny Boy’ was an absolute delight. Interactive took time to speak to us and anticipated our needs. He said he needed to go to a meeting but introduced Deepa who would look after us while he was gone. Deepa too was absolutely outstanding. Food excellent. Couldn’t fault anything. A true indulgent afternoon
