Went for afternoon tea, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, made to feel very welcome, a once in a lifetime experience, I would recommend anyone to go.

The service was professional and attentive. Attention to detail….an empty cup or plate was addressed immediately. Service was genuine and friendly….absolutely delightful.

Having booked well in advance we were disappointed that our table felt like an “add on” and we didn’t really get the full effect of being in the Thames Foyer. That was the only disappointment. The service and the food were first class. I needed a wheat free afternoon tea and it was the best I have ever had.

We absolutely loved our first visit. Carina ensured we had a memorable time and made some fantastic suggestions. The staff are very kind and accommodating. They also ensured my friend Ujal who is a ‘bride to be’ felt very special. Thank you!

Room a little dated but was told its closing for a referb imminently. Service was good but felt a little rushed. Food was good but felt for the price each element should be on point, it was a bit style over substance on the sweet side. Savoury was tasty but basic. Ambience nice with live pianist. For £100 plus 15%service charge, thought a lot more could be done to make it worth the price point. I have had much better afternoon teas for a third of the price with much more thought gone into flavours and delivery.

Excellent service within a very pleasant setting. Price is however expensive based on what is provided, this when compared to some other facilities that we have visited for afternoon tea. We do however appreciate that price is due to the venue.

Thames Foyer was a worth while experience for myself and my friends. It help us to mark the height of summer and some achievements throughout the year. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed the explanation of each course and their flavours. Very worthwhile experience and highly recommended!
