The quality of meat has declined consiatently. It may be a while when we go back. The servers seem to not understand the object of red and green. And most did not speak or understand english

Almost everything was perfect, had amazing flavor. The meats were cooked to perfection. I always enjoy coming here and will continue to be a customer. The ONLY good I didn't like was the cheese bread. They're too doughy.

It was our first time going out in a while and we wanted to try something different. We made the decision to drive out to McAllen, we live in Brownsville, and enjoy a night without kids. Best choice we made was eating at Texas de Brazil, excellent service. We loved Kaitlyn, she was so informative and so willing to help. Food and drinks were delicious.

The experience was a pleasent one, I was expecting the steep price tag. So right off the bat, the service is where all the value is here, extremely attentive staff. Of course that is a requirement because of the model the restaurant is based off, still very good service. The selection of meats was great, the flavor of the meats was ok. The saving grace for the meats was the great salad bar were you can select items to enhance the flavor of the meats, although for me, steak or lamb should stand on its own without me having to seek out flavor, especially at that price point, but like I said earlier, the value here is found in the service. I will say the meats where cooked to perfection, they just needed some boost in flavor. Overall experience was nice, can't say with 100% certainty I'll ever be back, but it was nice, nothing wrong with the establishment or the staff, or the amazing selection in red and white wines. I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10 stars. It's simply not my cup of tea. I like my steak, chicken, or lamb to be cared for on an individual level before being plated and brought to me.

They were prompt to sit a reservation table for 8 when we arrived. But I think Wednesday night dinners are not the busiest since our waiter seemed like he had several tables on his own with little help. It took him a while to write everyone’s drinks down. Bar took forever to make our drinks. And when drinks came in, seemed like glasses were 95% ice and 5% actual drink. When he asked if I wanted another, I pointed at the glass and told him to look at the volume of ice and we all passed on ordering more drinks. Not worth the money spent for a glass of ice. Food was ok but seemed like taste varied from same meats as it came out. Some way too salty which I don’t mind, other same meats throughout the evening no salt at all. Waiter rarely came by the table and luckily the manager that night came by to refill some of our cokes & water glasses. Was expecting better overall service considering what you pay. Maybe it’s better on a Friday or Saturday night?

Restaurant looks beautiful and clean. Nice ambiance. Not too stuffy but still feels special. Our server was really nice and attentive. He happily gave us second servings of our side dishes upon request. It just felt weird when the hostess placed the napkin on our laps upon sitting at the table. Found it unnecessary. Thank you though. Salad bar had many good tasty options. You can easily get tempted to get full from all the items from the salad bar. Just a suggestion: the chimichurri needs more acid. Tables too small. Got too crowded with all the plates and glasses....and of course all the food we had. We reserved for a birthday celebration but we didn't receive the complimentary birthday dessert. Some of the meats were too salty. I prefer to get the middle slices of the meat so it won't be too salty. The more popular cuts of meats don't go out as often. Bacon wrapped chicken was dry. Our fave was the sirloin -- tender, flavorful and juicy.

Amazing dining experience at Tejas de Brazil. The quality of the food was outstanding. Service was superb and the ambiance above par. I highly recommend this restaurant for an overall phenomenal dining experience.
