I have been to Texas de Brazil many times over the years since they opened in smithtown mall but honestly the last few times we’ve been it’s been very underwhelming. Service is always good but the food quality has gone down. I went for my husbands birthday and the variety of cuts was poor (even though we asked for filet mignon when asked but never received), the meat was bland and some cuts over cooked (ie we saw some of the sausages were black) and some too rare for our taste even though we asked for medium. The price has also increased since last year and to make the visit more disappointing, the last few times we have gone have all been for birthdays or anniversaries and even though they were notified of this all times they no longer make any effort to make the night special with a dessert like they did back when it first opened so that was a let down We will most likely not be returning for a long time sadly.

I took my husband here for Father’s day and he absolutely loved it! As did I and our son. The price is beyond reasonable considering the amount of steak you can receive as well as the sides and cold bar. I highly recommend the chocolate mousse cake for dessert! We will definitely be going back soon!

We asked numerous times for meats rare to medium rare. By the 4 th time asking I gave up.

We enjoyed a dinner at Texas de Brazil in Sunrise, FL, but experienced quite the opposite this evening. I found the food to be bland, and the staff in general to be less attentive. It was so cold that people were wearing their jackets or coats as they ate. I finally asked the hostess if someone could turn up the heat. Not interested in a return visit to this branch.
