La famille Tersiguel propose sa version unique de la cuisine française depuis plus de 40 ans. Le menu du Tersiguel's combine une authentique cuisine de style français et des plats rustiques évoquant la Bretagne, le berceau d'origine des Tersiguel. Le Tersiguel's prépare une cuisine reflétant les saisons en utilisant les laitues, les herbes, les légumes, les fruits et les fleurs comestibles cultivés dans son jardin. Lorsque le jardin ne produit pas, le chef Michel Tersiguel se rend personnellement au marché de Jessup, dans le Maryland, pour sélectionner tous les fruits et légumes.       This was sadly one of the worst restaurants we’ve been to in a very long time! There were glaring issues with every course! Undercooked, under seasoned and just plain bad! Even the bread we received was borderline stale and uninspired. As a couple who have been to several fine dining establishments, it was laughable to even put this restaurant in that category! The building itself was cute and a very elegant feel. Waitstaff was adequate, but none of that could make up for the catastrophe on our plates! Honestly, we were shocked considering the stellar reviews of this long standing icon in Ellicott City. As for us however, we will never return!

      Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion. Even though the menu is nominally set by the chef, containing no choices, Tersiguel's is very accommodating to special dietary needs and preferences. During our visit this evening, substitutions were provided as needed, resulting in changes in four of the six courses. One of Ellicott City's and Howard County's finest dining experiences.

      Went there for 15 year wedding anniversary. Reservation made online, mentioned it was our anniversary, and we got a private room. All staff were extraordinary with customer service. Pleasant and professional. 6 courses were exceptional. Everything tasted wonderful. Salmon salad, soup, vegetables, lamb chop, steak, dessert all special. We will make Tersiquel’s our go to restaurant every anniversary from now on.

      The tasting dinner was delicious! Each of the 6 courses was prepared and described with perfection’ The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and attentive.

      Tersiguel's is wonderful, small restaurant in old town Ellicott City, really the only place in the old town that aims for fine dining. It's in an old house near the upper end of the main street. There's an upstairs, which we didn't see on this visit, and two parlors on the ground floor, one with a small bar with four or five stools and a lovely array of bottles behind it. There is only one option for dining: a six-course, $99 prix fixe with no choices, though they say they can accommodate people with dietary restrictions. My wife and I are omnivores without allergies, so we didn't make any special requests. They post the menu by the front door and on Facebook, so if you are at all picky be sure to check before you make a reservation. The menu changes according to the season. We sat at a table for two by the front window, so we could watch the world go by on the main drag, not a bad thing on a Friday night in the old town. Our parlor by the bar was quiet and the temperature was good. You really don't hear the steady traffic or the passing throng. Service was excellent--we never had to ask for anything or flag down a server. The three different people who saw to our table were all very attentive and not overbearing. I would call the cuisine quite French, but verging on nouvelle cuisine. I hope I am right in saying the chef is staying true to the restaurant's historic Breton roots. We had a delightful soup, followed by courses of salmon tartare, escargots, lamb chops and beef tenderloin. Desert was a very nice apple clafoutis. Portions are generous. Sauces are very interesting and not heavy with cream; everything was perfectly cooked. The soup was not over-salted, a rarity in my experience. You can see the chef's thoughtfulness and creativity in every dish. The wine list is sensibly modest, but varied enough for whatever is on the menu. They offer a wine pairing, which we didn't use, but our server made excellent suggestions. Overall a gem that deserves to thrive.

      Absolutely no complaints. Service was top notch, the waiters were on top of everything from clearing glasses, plates, and silverware to taking the time to explain dishes and really make the entire experience memorable and wonderful. The wine pairings were fantastic with every dish. Everyone was personable and welcoming. Dishes were warming, filling, and memorable but not overwhelming or overly complex. Country French at its best. Highly recommend.

      We really enjoyed our time at Tersiguel’s. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about each dish. The six course dinner provided a tasty variety and certainly left us satisfied.
