A Italian restaurant for family and friends. I have been using this restaurant for family for over 15 years. Their dishes are amazing

We booked Terroni to celebrate an important occasion, and informed our hostess and on the reservation. Understandably they were busy, but we felt extremely rushed. Our entrees came out seconds after our appetizer. With no room on the table, I informed the server we were not ready yet for our entrees. He seemed annoyed. Fried calamari was not seasoned well - very powdery. My partners entree came out with a peice of tin foil in it. When the manager came around, he informed they store their pasta in foil. I wondered if they pre-cook/make all their pastas and then just reheat them. The entree was not comped, despite the piece of foil. Our experience wasn’t made special, given the occasion. We were rushed in and out in an under an hour.

First time dining at Terroni and thought it'd be better. For a $20 peach and burrata salad, I thought I'd be getting a ball of burrata, not two tablespoons. Rooftop patio was nice... not much of a view but ambience good. Mocktail prices were a bit outrageous ($14). Service was great.

We ordered the peach salad, which came with not ripe enough peach slices, even though it’s peak peach season right now. I would have expected some char on the peaches, which would have brought some caramelization to it, but there wasn’t any, and the peaches sour and underripe. The walnuts in the salad were stale. The Bresalola starter was good. My husband ordered the Prime Rib steak, which, though very tasty, didn’t come with any fries, which I found surprising, considering that, for the price, they should have been included. He then ordered a side of roasted potatoes, which were soggy, no crisp edges, as would have been expected in a restaurant like Terroni. I ordered the Seabass, and, again, though I would have expected a nice crisp skin, the skin was slimy. I had to remove it. There was no lemon wedges to squeeze on the otherwise bland piece of fish, so I had to ask for some. Very surprising, as I’d expect that to be the norm. My Vodka soda had almost no vodka in it. Though the servers were very sweet, they weren’t as attentive to our needs as one would have wished. We had to seek them out for more drinks and to pay the bill.

We were a small group and had a lovely evening re-connecting over a long dinner. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and the food was fresh and well presented and tasty and well-paired (eg, branzino with small salad that evening). Each dish arrived swiftly, yet we never felt rushed. It was not too noisy; for example, we never heard the neighbouring tables. Recommended!

Indoors in the summer meant reduced patronage and a quieter ambiance. Seating and service were excellent. The other members of my party of six did not complain about the food, perhaps because they did not wish to complain to their host. But my own pasta plate was dry and tasteless. Not even some extra parmesan cheese helped. I ate very little of a 25 dollar dish.
