We had a fabulous birthday lunch for our Girlfriends group. The cocktails are food were great. Mason was our server and he was great. He joined in on the spirit of our gathering. It was wonderful!!! Can’t wait to return.

We have always liked the chicken enchiladas, but now they are different and we like them more! They aren't the traditional Sonoran style enchiladas, they don't have a red sauce over them. Instead it is a crema sauce and the flavor comes from within the chicken. They aren't too spicy, but have good flavor and spice. Visitors and locals will like these unusual enchiladas!

This is definitely a hidden gem in Tucson. I had searched online where to go for an anniversary dinner and saw someone suggest Terraza Garden Patio & Lounge. They mentioned taking a stroll on the grounds after a meal was romantic. They neglected to add how amazing the staff and food was. My husband and I were treated like royalty. The weather was perfect, the music playing in the background was at a perfect volume and our waiter Austin made sure our food was timed just right with giving us time to enjoy each entree. One of the managers came by and asked about our experience and gave us his card and mentioned that live music is there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. WE WILL BE RETURNING!!!

A great experience. Both servers that took care of were outstanding. It was reflected in their manners that they loved what they were doing and cared much for the guests.

I specifically requested a quiet table and was placed up front right in front of the band. Then when we requested to split an entree, we were rather rudely informed there would be an “up charge “, no problem, but it seemed like an issue for the waiter. The order was chicken enchiladas, there was plenty on both plates, however, both the side of beans and the chicken enchiladas were cold. When the waiter ask how the meal was, I politely informed him that the enchiladas were cold. He did offer to take them back but the noise level was so high from the band, we just wanted to get out of there. The Lounge and Jensen are a gem! He is fantastic and his service is impeccable. We had both appetizers (calamari and margaritas) then went back there for dessert (strawberry shortcake) and cappuccinos. Jensen saved the night! Stay away from the Terraza Garden Patio, go to the Lounge and maybe try the Grille.

The Hacienda del Sol is quaint, rich in old Tucson history. The gardens are lovely. Lunch at the restaurant is pleasant, the food is excellent ; a unique balance of exotic and holsome.

First of all, my wife and I have difficult food allergies (my wife to cow dairy and I'm celiac). We hadn't been there in a while, we know it's lovely, so we wanted to go on a Saturday night for something different. It ended up being very nice. Look, when you have our allergies, you don't expect much on a menu to be able to eat, but they had a few choices for us, which is nice. Aside from my wife's food coming out with cheese on it, they did a fantastic job. Helped us with our options and even surprised us at the end that they had a vegan chocolate sorbet and GF/vegan chocolate brownie we could split. It's also nice that they have a GF bun option for their burgers/sandwiches as well! Our server ended up being very nice. Only reason it's four stars was it took a while to get to the table (maybe she was very busy) and the cheese on my wife's food, which was quickly remedied. Also, I had requested a standard table and the hostess went to seat us at a high top (my wife has a bad hip and can't do the high tops). These are all very minor in context, so we'll definitely be back.

Our diner at Terraza was lovely! From the greeting to the actual dining experience, we had excellent service and the food was very tasty! Our server, Darren, did a great job! We would highly recommend this option if you are staying at the Hacienda del Sol (which we did) or a local resident or a visitor. A very good experience overall.

We enjoy the eatery due to the ambience of the Hacienda del Sol resort and particularly the accompanying music of the jazz group that performs during dinner.
