We had a lovely lunch at Terrain today. Both my friend and I had the harvest bowl which was delicious. The flavors were yummy, and the assortment of ingredients and textures enhanced the dish! The wait staff was pleasant and helpful. But not intrusive. Overall, a very nice experience!

This was our first visit to Terrain Cafe and it will be our last. The setting is pleasant, the menu interesting, and the staff good enough, but the food was very mediocre. The halibut entree was severely overcooked and tasteless, served over a celery root puree that had absolutely no flavor. The short rib was also devoid of any flavor.

Tables are a little too close to each other but other than that it was a pleasant experience! Food and drinks where amazing

Fantastic! The manager, Suzanna, helped me coordinate the perfect surprise maid/matron of honor proposal for my sisters and it was just a dream come true! The food, drinks, and service are always so spectacular each time. Terrain is my families favorite restaurant on the main line! Thank you again for all of the love and special efforts to making this memory so special for us! I hope to have my bridal shower here!!

New Year’s Eve is a dodgy night to dine out. And most of my experiences at Terrain have been good. But last night was not great. We had a 6:30 reservation for 5 and were out before 8:30. It took a long time to get our drinks and apps. Water wasn’t refilled with any regularity. The holiday cocktail I chose was just meh. Bread and butter is always a delighter. Poutine was disappointing. Fried cauliflower and Brussels sprouts were good. Scallops, pot pie, and pork tenderloin were good. They were out of their NYE special desserts - ice cream (??!!) and an ice cream cookie. How, when we had a 6:30 reservation, I’m not sure. The ambiance is always lovely and the staff was friendly. Would go back again but probably not on a holiday
