We invite you to enjoy a ride in the Gingerbread Express, an elevator that travels up to the restaurant, Terrace 16, decked in everyone’s favorite holiday indulgences – gingerbread, candy canes, and a variety of sweet treats. Between mixing and baking in the kitchen, our Executive Pastry Chef, Keaton Vasek and his amazing team takes over 450 hours to create this holiday staple at the hotel! 466 pounds of all-purpose flour, 105 pounds of dark sugar and 98 pounds of butter. Everything on the menu we had was fantastic. A large variety for Breakfast and/or brunch. Slightly large portions. Service was top notch. Not a loud atmosphere at all. The view of the city was 2nd to none!

Poor service, too much time to wait. Poor Avocado toast. Poor chocolate cake. Everything was so bad. Like if we are transparent.

Great experience! From the time we met the hostess until we left, was exceptional. First, I completely screwed up and didn't leave us enough time to eat and get to a CSO concert. When I realized this, the hostess went above and beyond to make it all work out. She sat us quickly, alerted the wait staff, made sure our check was paid before we were done eating so we could bolt out the door. The food was excellent and came quickly, view amazing and staff was so nice. Thank you for helping us, it made all the difference!

Is one might expect eating at the Trump is usually expensive. My only concern was that the food was good but not great. A $23 French toast should be brioche bread thick cut not standard bread standard slices. The bacon was cool if not cold. Which of course means it was made in bulk at an earlier time. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food and regardless of how busy you are they should’ve made the food fresh. Especially when it was ordered à la cart and we paid à la cart prices. The view is priceless and the facility itself is beautiful. One can’t complain about seeing Lake Michigan from their window while eating breakfast. Coffee was excellent if a little weak. But that’s just a personal preference. Premium pricing is acceptable under the circumstances but not with the current quality of food. This was average food in a above average setting and left us wanting for something a little more exciting and interesting. I could understand if it was a buffet but to serve cool or relatively older food rather than freshly make it and preserve it to the table piping hot is not acceptable. Still a great experience.

The ambiance is absolutely amazing! The high ceilings and view over the river are unbeatable! In addition, the sablefish and branzino were so tasty! Definitely recommend the purée as well!

Steak was overcooked. Lobster tasted old. Hamburgers were the same quality as Wendy’s. Very disappointed. The only thing that was good were the Cesar salads
