    Staff were attentive and polite, ambience was great and food was lovely. Such a great neighbourhood restaurant. Would visit again.

    We were seated promptly and ordered food straight away. There was a couple that had a grievance with staff due to the lack of service provided to them, even though they were seated prior to the other parties. Food was delivered wrong to us, chicken dishes were presented to us (us being vegetarian), even though that wasn't what we ordered. Correct food dishes was eventually provided and were great. All things were great until we asked for the bill. We queried the additional service charge, to which the waiter grimaced and kept forcefully pushing the card machine,not listening to our question. Once heard, the waiter's face and attitude changed as we suggested to take it off (as I usually give a cash tip). The waiter walked away in a huff and disappeared. A manager appeared and took over as the waiter no longer wanted to provide service to us. The manager asked is regarding the service, to which is also mentioned that we want to take off the service charge (as I usually tip in cash). We asked to split the bill each lead to another delay, this now took a total 10 minutes. The manager also didn't want to serve us, had an attitude and pushed our cards back into our hands. No goodbyes were exchanged by either the manager nor the waiter. Service overall fell so badly that I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone which is a shame.

    First time at Terra Terra. Loved the decor and comfy seats. Food was delicious. Service was attentive and staff were enthusiastic and informative. I don't have the details of the items we ordered, but from memory, the starter was Arancini - such a delicious thick sauce; the mains were a beef & lamb rague with pasta (made by our waiter) and an aubergine parmigana; dessert was sorbet and ice-cream (home-made). We each drank a glass of wine - pinot griego and primotiva. I was disappointed that the bottles of wine jumped from about £30 to £50 for a bottle and as I buy £15+ wine for my home, the £30 wines were not ones that I would enjoy. Other restaurants offer a better range of wines up to £30. The two of were on our desserts when we were asked if we could moved from the table for 4 to a table for 2. We did and we were offered - and accepted - a glass of Prosecco each, which we enjoyed.

    Friendly welcome on a wet Saturday lunchtime. Excellent food and service. Rigatoni alla norma was delicious. Less than 10 mins walk from Hampstead Theatre

    Very disappointed with the food and the service was ok. We had to wait for 30min for our main to arrive and there was clearly not enough staff to attend to a full house at the back of the restaurant.

    We arrived early for our reservation so sat at the bar and sampled gin. Very pleasant staff. Dining on the outdoor back terrace was lovely!

    As always, Stefano and the team excelled. Food was delicious- new summer menu a delight. Service great - charming staff. And the vibe was as relaxed as always.
