Terra Mare is a contemporary Italian restaurant & bar, inspired by Puglia. Located on High Street and brought to you by the team behind Silures Restaurant, Terra Mare is an authentic Italian dining experience, bringing the heart and soul of Italy right to your table.

Inspired by the vibrant flavours and time-honoured traditions of Puglia, our menu is a true journey through the classic Italian way of dining. From cicchetti (small snacks) to antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti, and finally dolce (desserts), Terra Mare invites you to savour each moment, every bite, and every sip. We had a fantastic evening at Terra Mare. The restaurant was busy despite it being a midweek booking in January. There is a wonderful looking bar in the middle of the restaurant to sit and have pre-dinner drinks and cocktails. The service was both very friendly and attentive. The four of us shared starters which were first class. The main courses were equally good and the rib of beef on the bone was outstanding. We will definitely be going back soon.

I had such a great experience staff were lovely the food was outstanding and overall the atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely be coming back :)

We went at 5pm without a booking to be told that there were no tables, by a not very friendly front of house, walked outside and booked a table online. Left an instant distaste, but were interested in the food so went anyway. Service was good, as was food, but nothing exceptional. So based on the initial experience we most certainly won’t be going back.

Focaccia was really good and the olive oil complimented it beautifully. We would’ve liked some balsamic vinegar to go with it too. The Tagliere Di Salumi complimented the focaccia really well. Ragu orecchiette was absolutely sublime. Personally, slightly too much pasta for me as it was really filling but it was really good. The Pinot Rose was great.
