Born in the “Pampas”, (Southern region of Brazil) Terra Gaúchaʼs concept revolves around “Churrasco” a traditional grilling method using open flames and various cuts of meat. Today, we proudly keep the flame alive using authentic Gaúcho seasonings and natural wood charcoal to roast succulent beef, lamb, poultry and pork.

In addition to our grilled meats, guests enjoy a gourmet salad and sides bar featuring the freshest vegetables, a variety of cheeses and cold cuts. During the dining experience each guest is transported (no passport required) to “Southern Brazil” where they are pampered from start to finish. The “Terra Gaúcha familia” would like to invite you for a unique experience that will make a lasting impression.

Well…. This place is not what we were hoping for. Most of the Meats were dry, salad bar wasn’t all that. Best item was the scalloped potatoes. Then we get our check for a table of 5 and come to find out it included tip but waitress said nothing to that so we 2nd tipped on the bill but had included gratuity removed. Not cool they don’t tell you that….. and why? It’s not like we had a big table. Ambiance is an cheap attempt to look like a nice place. Food was not that great. Definitely not worth the $60 a person. Save your money and go to Outback for a good steak.

The staff were excellent. We went on Friday for lunch, & it’s some of the best service we’ve ever had. There was good variety at the salad bar, & the cocktails were great too! We’ll definitely be back!

The food is exactly as one would expect from a Brazilian steak house, and the service was excellent! The hot roasted pineapple was a multiple-repeat item at my table. If you like steak, I would definitely return.

We got to the restaurant just before they opened and it was quiet but filled up fast. The waiters and servers were smiling and so nice. They made this an experience to remember, they were amazing. I recommend making a reservation just to avoid wait times but this place it worth a wait. The food is excellent and they have a huge variety so come hungry. Everything on the salad bar looked and tasted fresh. The meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The whole experience we had was well worth the 2 hr drive it took to get there. We had made going to Terra Gaucha a tradition for every special occasion while living in Jacksonville, FL. We have missed it since coming back home to Indiana. Indy's Terra Gaucha did not disappoint at all, they were everything we remembered and maybe a little better.

Excellent food and service. Highly recommend, great option on the north side, not having to go downtown, and parking is very convenient.
