Located on the third floor of Eataly Los Angeles, Terra is a rooftop restaurant featuring a wood-burning Italian grill and views of the Hollywood Hills. Named for "earth" in Italian, Terra's menu is centered around the grill, resulting in earthy dishes paired perfectly with botanical cocktails, premium Italian wines, and more.

I hate complaining, I’m not one to normally do that, but this was all around not a great meal. My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I had a 50$ gift card that I regret spending here. The service was extremely slow, I mean it took 10 minutes to get a side of balsamic which by the time it came the bread was gone. I could understand this if they were busy, but they were not. The food was mediocre at best and the prices were ridiculous for the portions. The bambette pork skewers were good, but it was the only notable thing in the entire dinner. They sent us a free puff pastry for our anniversary which was so sweet, but the whipped cream tasted like dish soap which ruined the entire dessert. Finally, we had to hunt someone down to pay the bill. The entire dinner took 2 hours and 15 minutes when it should have been an hour and a half at most considering we ordered everything right away. I was disappointed and will not be back.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Terra-Eataly, and I must say, the experience was exceptional thanks to the outstanding service provided by Alexis and Mario. From the moment we were seated, Alexis greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcomed, while Mario’s attentiveness and knowledge of the deserts were truly impressive. Their teamwork and professionalism elevated the entire evening, ensuring every detail of our dining experience was flawless. I highly recommend trying the holiday special—the beef shoulder. It was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. It’s a dish that beautifully captures the essence of the season and is not to be missed. Thank you, Terra-Eataly, for a wonderful evening and for having such fantastic staff as Alexis and Mario. I will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful Rooftop location! The ambiance was perfect enough to actually hear our own conversation with my date during dinner! Wine selection was perfect, food was terrific & the bar was excellent! I highly recommend this venue & if you'd like to purchase the wine you had just tasted, their marketplace just below has all that you need! Perfect place & will go back next time for lunch!

Terra encapsulates everything I love about LA. Great open air rooftop year round, amazing drinks, great food (anything on the wood fired grill. Must try: the bread, skewers, brocollini, steak), and a great ambiance with friendly staff.
