We went for brunch and the ambiance is stunning. However the food was mediocre at best. The chips in the chilaquiles went even cooked…they just poured the sauce over the top of the cold chips. Egg was also cold when served. Not good. For this trip we stayed at Hotel San Cristobal and the food there was mind blowing. I also had the chilaquiles at Oystera on this trip, and they were delicious. If you’re looking for scenery/ig photos, try Tenoch. But if you’re looking for excellent food, go elsewhere.

Extraordinary dinner! All fresh, all creatively prepared, wonderful service from Abraham, unique cuisine! From spicy Chapulines to Brioche French Toast it was ALL good! Interesting hotel, sort of brutalist architecture. Definitely do it again.

I Came here for my birthday- booked several months out b/c I was so excited… unfortunately we were there during a very large wedding which had consumed all of the attention and focus of the kitchen and most of the staff. It took us over 45 minutes to get our drinks… and nearly 1.5 from arrival to get our food. Once the food finally came the soup that they poured (by hand from a small carafe) was cold. I asked the waiter if it was supposed to be a chilled version of tortillas soup, and he gasped in embarrassment that it was definitely supposed to be a hot soup. I confirmed with him that it definitely was NOT even warm- it was fully chilled similar to gazpacho. Then when our entrees arrived 2 were missing. He immediately went back to the kitchen and another hour later, once everyone else had eaten one of the two came out- never receiving the final entree (which was mine- the person celebrating their birthday). They then dropped the check with all items included but my entree- even the cold soup, the hour delayed entree… no discount/apology/nada. Then our group reminded him it was my birthday, as they had prearranged for a dessert to be brought, which he had clearly forgotten. When that finally came- it was ice cream…. And I had noted I have a dairy allergy. From the time we arrived to the time we departed- we had been there for nearly 4 hours, spent nearly $800 and ended up grabbing tacos in Todos when we got back. Needless to say I was pretty bummed and will not be returning. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I personally own a restaurant in Oregon and have a certain expectation when dining- especially at a place that has the Michelin guide standing behind it. This experience was definitely a “flat tire”.

deliciosa comida, en un muy ambiente, pero caro. lo reccomiendo, pero esten preparados a pagar coo si estuvieses en Los Angeles.

Nos estafaron, nos cobraron una copa de vino en $40 Dlls cuando costaba $30 Dlls la botella… que mal lugar aparte sus tacos muy malos y sentimos que fue una estafa el precio- calidad.

Amazing experience and outstanding food. The level of service and quality of food was superior to any experience we have had. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. What an amazing chef! Erlan (sp?) at the bar was such a great host.

Probamos la experiencia Omakase para cenar. Eramos un grupo de 6 amigos, y la pasamos espectacular. La atención, el servicio, la amabilidad y calidez del equipo fue lo mas destacable de la noche. Por supuesto que la comida y el maridaje fueron perfectos, todo estaba delicioso, pero la experiencia destaco por el gran servicio del Chef Christian, de Abraham y de César. Gracias a todo el staff por una gran noche. Por otro lado, la comida a la carta que también la probamos otros días estaba deliciosa.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! My husband and I went to Tenoch to celebrate his birthday and the end of our honeymoon and everything was perfect. Leslie was our server and she was so knowledgeable and nice. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!
