Treat yourself to Tenfold this Thanksgiving with the launch of our featured seasonal cocktail, Alexander's Penthouse, made with locally distilled Kinsman Rakia. We're proud to announce our participation in the 9th Annual Kinsman Brandy Alexander Tour with Tenfold's take on this classic cocktail. We're calling it Alexander's Penthouse. A select number of bars and restaurants from across San Antonio are selected to participate in this annual event with each creating a unique take on the classic Brandy Alexander made with award-winning, locally distilled Kinsman Rakia. Celebrating the creativity of the local bar and culinary scene during the holiday season makes this a must-do holiday season tradition. The self-paced tour runs annually from Thanksgiving Day through December 31st.

The rooftop itself is gorgeous with amazing views but the drinks and food are overpriced and underwhelming. I was a guest at the hotel and decided to try the rooftop for dinner/drinks. I waited over an hour for ceviche (served without chips which should be a crime in San Antonio) and an hour and a half for oysters. Both were regrettable, including the one drink we got to order the entire time we were there. Our waitress would disappear and was not attentive- if not we would have left sooner. Even left my ticket at one point with no pen and disappeared. I had to go find one so we could finally leave. We ended up spending more money on dinner/drinks downstairs (which was fantastic). Next time, I’d go just for the view and a glass of wine.

I ordered a French 75 and it was the smallest cocktail I have ever been served. Didn’t taste like it had any gin in it. We ordered on small plate and it took forever to arrive. We left and went elsewhere. Disappointing.

We came to Tendold for our 29th wedding anniversary. We picked the 10x meal and tried multiple signature drinks. They greeted us at the elevator with a happy anniversary and everyone who addressed us knew about and mentioned our anniversary. The ambiance and view was spectacular. The atmosphere was reserved and pleasant with a nice vibe. The food and drinks were top notch with a legitimately new take on some items. The 10x meal was a little pricey but worth every penny for the experience. They just keep brining more courses and it spaced out where it makes a whole evening of the event. Perfect for talking and sharing and trying new things. Definitely recommend for a date night or anniversary. Attire ranged from golf shorts/shirt to slacks and dresses so no need to dress up a lot but you won’t feel overdressed in business casual either. The staff really works to make your experience 5 stars.

Overall, it was an good experience. However, the young lady that was at the bottom of the stairs before you enter the elevator to go to the roof top was rude, dismissive, and unkind. I stayed because I had a reservation and I’m glad that I did because everything changed once I actually got into the space. The servers were attentive, the chef even brought my food to the table and told me some great recommendations. I will return and will always have a reservation.

Little Anniversary dinner (25th). Good was great, had the 10x, small bites but plenty. Drinks were good, service a little slow but very nice.

Don’t bother to call the restaurant - nobody answered the phone for 2 hours of trying to call them. And if there is an event anywhere downtown valet gets shut down parking event people and telling restaurant guests they can’t park you. So don’t be surprised if you show up with nowhere to park.
