Restaurant was understaffed and service was incredibly slow. Kitchen staff were loud and unprofessional. Our seats were covered in spider webs. Crab dip was served cold with lumps of cream cheese. Tortilla chips were stale. Our waitress was nice, but completely out of her depth. This venue is light years behind the standards of every other waterfront restaurant in the buffalo area.

I made brunch reservation for my mom and her siblings whom are visiting from out of state. They were excited to enjoy a meal together without any stress or distractions. They got back from the restaurant talking about how beautiful the views are while trying to enjoy their cold meals. The service was “beyond horrible” in their words. The waitress brings them utensils AFTER they had to ask for them and walks out carrying them in her hand and just throws them on table. Then brings out 3 out of 5 meals and forgets about the other 2 and continues to cater to the other tables while my family are still waiting for their food. They loved the experience at Templeton but the service was definitely a 0/10 but they enjoyed everything else.

It took between 15 and 30 minutes to get our drinks because there is only two bartenders on and it was happy hour. Manager needs at least 3 experienced with bar backs Silver was great and so was the food

unfortunately the food wasn’t great. the chicken wings were all misshapen and not cut right (extra bones sticking out) and there were feathers still on one of them. we also ordered the chicken sandwich and it was cold and dry. the service was ok, but they tried to charge us for something we ordered but they said they were out of so we didn’t get it. they did at least comp the sandwich, and the drinks were good. overall probably wouldn’t come back here. 6/10

Restaurant really needs some help. Very understaffed. Likely inexperienced, or poorly trained, cooking staff who did not prepare food as expected. The staff tried to do their best, they were friendly and worked to be accommodating. However, there was just a lot of miscommunication and mishaps. Food was quite decent, just missing key ingredients (no dressing or chicken on the salad, no beans and sour cream on the nachos, no sour cream on the tacos). The appetizer came out with the entrées and one of the entrées was not what we ordered. And when I say, entrées, I mean salad, sandwiches: burgers . It is a limited menu, which is probably good because this establishment likely couldn’t handle a more extensive menu. The restaurant dining room and outside terrace were at less that half occupancy. There were a couple of larger private parties in the catered venue rooms, so it should have been much smoother service. This could be a really great place. Some money, time and effort needs to be put into this place to make it a successful restaurant that will draw repeat customers. There has to be some major flaws in the whole set up and processes. Please - someone come and help this place or take it over. It’s one of the few places on the water in the city. I would love to see it be successful.

We left five minutes after we arrived. The place was filthy. Tables and chairs hadn’t been wiped down, food was on the floor, and the landscape was overgrown and full of weeds. Can’t speak to the food because we left before ordering any.

Stood in line 15 minutes before a waiter came and looked up reservation, no hostess. Order was wrong, food was lukewarm and drinks were freaking terrible. Never again.
