Dear guests,

temper is a unique barbecue, steak and open fire pit restaurant where we cook everything in front of your eyes using only wood and charcoal in huge 4.5m long fire pit in the middle of the room. We only use the best produce available and source our meat from local farms and butcher it all ourselves in house.

We serve our meats alongside tacos, parathas, made in house and mezcal cocktails.

We serve Bottomless BBQ Brunch every Saturday and our famous roast every Sunday.

temper Soho is a fantastic venue right in the middle of the West End. Fire, steaks and cocktails take the lead on the menu and this smoky, sultry dining room with fire pit provides a unique backdrop for any occasion. Our private dining room offers privacy as well still feeling apart of all the action of the restaurant and open plan kitchen. It's a great space for a secret hideaway for up to 22 guests seated or 25 standing. Alternatively, for the ultimate experience, hire the entire restaurant for exclusive hire up to 150 guests. Our Group Feast Menus have been designed for larger groups, served family style to the tables for sharing, the temper way. Our Events Manager will work with you to create a bespoke event to your preferences, but with a twist!

1. Music was too loud 2. Wasn’t clear at all that it was a Sunday menu only - until we got there, didn’t want a roast so had to settle for tacos but they were tiny for what they were 3. Drinks were too expensive 4. They said they’d bring a cake out for my friends birthday but it was 7pm and they never did it

Excellent roast, really good quality meat, more than we could manage (3 beast feast for 2) we had high expectations which were more than matched! Highly recommend

Disappointing - the food was small portions with just too much going on in each bite that it did not taste good at all. Everyone on our table had the same experience that it was not worth the price of what we ate. The menu is also confusing and not clear to what is in each thing. I ordered the ‘Sober Pig’ tacos and I found a massive piece of bone in mine which I nearly bit down on, and the rest of it was either fatty or fully of cartilage.

The service was pleasant and I had an excellent margarita, but beyond that the experience was disappointing. The food was lacking in flavour and the tacos were dry and uninspiring. Wouldn’t go back.

We had the ore dinner menu! The cheeseburger tacos were overcooked, the potatoes over cooked and the steak was mostly fat! Whilst eating a member of staff was sweeping around us which created the smell of dust around us!

An impromptu anniversary lunch here was definitely worth while. Fantastic service and fabulous food. The special offer is such great value it would be mad not to take them up on it. Good drinks and the open kitchen is theatre at its best. Recommend

we went for our anniversary and they were very accommodating to our requests. they made us feel so so so welcomed by saying happy anniversary, checking up on us enough that it wasn’t overbearing and comforting. they laughed with our jokes, they were so friendly we wish we got their names to mention in this interview. at the end of the date they gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate, the cherry on top of our date. even the prices were affordable for the quality of food we received especially in london. it genuinely was the best food we’ve ever had and we even saw it be cooked as we sat by the grill. Very beautiful restaurant with very kind staff and chefs. Definitely would recommend and come again

Best peice of steak I have ever eaten in my life. The staff were polite and non intrusive. Good value for money and would recommend for anyone who enjoys steak.
