Beneath Broadwick Street you will find Soho’s original smokehouse. Known for meat, mezcal, tacos and good vibes, temper is centred around a giant fire pit, with a mix of counter dining to watch our chefs in action and leather booths for feasting.

Meat is bought in from English farms, aged in-house then butchered by our team and cooked over fire, served in corn tacos or on house-made parathas.

There’s also a legendary Sunday roast and Saturday bottomless brunch on offer, plus space for big groups and special occasions.

temper Soho is a fantastic venue right in the middle of the West End. Fire, steaks and cocktails take the lead on the menu and this smoky, sultry dining room with fire pit provides a unique backdrop for any occasion. Our private dining room offers privacy as well still feeling apart of all the action of the restaurant and open plan kitchen. It's a great space for a secret hideaway for up to 22 guests seated or 25 standing. Alternatively, for the ultimate experience, hire the entire restaurant for exclusive hire up to 150 guests. Our Group Feast Menus have been designed for larger groups, served family style to the tables for sharing, the temper way. Our Events Manager will work with you to create a bespoke event to your preferences, but with a twist!

having precooked for a birthday celebration we arrived to be told they had no food left! would not recommend

Went here for a roast dinner. I wouldn’t go back again for a roast.

Temper was a surprise! It looks like a pub but it was amazing fine dining! Steaks cooked to perfection! Tacos creative and delicious! The corn and potatoes sides were wonderful!

Poor quality meat content on the ribeye steak and the sirloin steak was grossly undercooked. By the time the sirloin mistake had been cooked to our liking the other members of the party had finished. No apology given until this was raised with the manager.

James, It is a real shame to see that on your last vsiit we were so far from your expectation, We usually have very good feedback on the quality and cookery of our steaks so we will be looking into what happened on this occasion. We will also be investigating the communication breakdown as to why there was no apology given at the time. No meat left after we had order wine. Came to table and was told that there was meat on the bone. After 60 min we were told that the meat was out. Then the clock was 22. Poor communication, they could have told ut directly.
