Beneath Broadwick Street you will find Soho’s original smokehouse. Known for meat, mezcal, tacos and good vibes, temper is centred around a giant fire pit, with a mix of counter dining to watch our chefs in action and leather booths for feasting.

Meat is bought in from English farms, aged in-house then butchered by our team and cooked over fire, served in corn tacos or on house-made parathas.

There’s also a legendary Sunday roast and Saturday bottomless brunch on offer, plus space for big groups and special occasions.

temper Soho is a fantastic venue right in the middle of the West End. Fire, steaks and cocktails take the lead on the menu and this smoky, sultry dining room with fire pit provides a unique backdrop for any occasion. Our private dining room offers privacy as well still feeling apart of all the action of the restaurant and open plan kitchen. It's a great space for a secret hideaway for up to 22 guests seated or 25 standing. Alternatively, for the ultimate experience, hire the entire restaurant for exclusive hire up to 150 guests. Our Group Feast Menus have been designed for larger groups, served family style to the tables for sharing, the temper way. Our Events Manager will work with you to create a bespoke event to your preferences, but with a twist!

I've been Temper quite often and always enjoyed it but this time was a bit of a let down. Staff was friendly as usual and quick to serve us but the food was far from great and felt like we got cold leftovers. Potatoes were undercooked and the meat was overcooked too. When served we were handed the plates to our hands rather than it set in front of us. I'll always come back and normally it's 5/5 stars for everything but this time it wasn't

This restaurant is basically like a posher Toby Carvery with the main difference being that they bring the food to your table rather than you queuing. It does have the trappings of a proper restaurant but from the food to the service it definitely isn’t one .

The food was really delicious. The service was excellent. The only thing they could improve is for the restaurant to be livelier, busier, so please go and you won’t be disappointed.

Our service was great, waitress was really nice and knowledgable about the menu. Food and cocktails arrived quickly and all were amazing.

excellent food, service was good but a little to attentive, but i think that was just due to us being at the restaurant very early, when it was quite.

lovely roast my only criticism in the yorkshire went soggy in the middle but otherwise gorgeous tasty with great service

Super loud so not great for a conversation but great atmosphere overall. Food was amazing but some tacos weren’t worth it in comparison to others. Hefty bill but typical of London. Service was outstanding
