Beneath Broadwick Street you will find Soho’s original smokehouse. Known for meat, mezcal, tacos and good vibes, temper is centred around a giant fire pit, with a mix of counter dining to watch our chefs in action and leather booths for feasting.

Meat is bought in from English farms, aged in-house then butchered by our team and cooked over fire, served in corn tacos or on house-made parathas.

There’s also a legendary Sunday roast and Saturday bottomless brunch on offer, plus space for big groups and special occasions.

Meat, Fire, Tacos, Events! Our in house chef's have created Group Feast Menus perfect for larger group bookings the offer the best of temper. Bespoke menus are available to suit your needs as well. All dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan can be catered for.

temper Soho is a fantastic venue right in the middle of the West End. Fire, steaks and cocktails take the lead on the menu and this smoky, sultry dining room with fire pit provides a unique backdrop for any occasion. Our private dining room offers privacy as well still feeling apart of all the action of the restaurant and open plan kitchen. It's a great space for a secret hideaway for up to 22 guests seated or 25 standing. Alternatively, for the ultimate experience, hire the entire restaurant for exclusive hire up to 150 guests. Our Group Feast Menus have been designed for larger groups, served family style to the tables for sharing, the temper way. Our Events Manager will work with you to create a bespoke event to your preferences, but with a twist!

Lots of missing items and slow service. Came with a party of 5 and lots of items were missing from the tacos and the steaks section. Service was good to begin with but then slowed down a lot.

Fantastic venue, lovely ambience and although not busy when we went it felt lively and noisy enough to talk without worrying about volume of chat. The food was incredibly tasty, opted for the bottomless brunch which made choosing from the great menu far easier. The meats were cooked to perfection and the entire platter was more than enough for two! Service was excellent. Never once needing to ask for another drink, as soon as glasses were empty our waiter was straight there asking if we wanted another. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again!

Overpriced. Music was too loud for an early dinner and service was poor from our waiter. It was a graduation meal and was quite disappointing.

Wow! This was my first time visiting temper and I was so so impressed. The Sunday roast was to die for, I had the pork belly. Was pleased to see it wasn’t covered in fat either so I was able to enjoy it, obviously this is personal preference. The vibe of the whole restaurant matched it so well and the staff were so lovely and attentive. Reasonably priced considering where the soho restaurant is located. Was a shame it wasn’t open for longer on a Sunday :)

We had a fantastic Sunday Roast at temper Soho; the service from Kelly was top notch, friendly, with great suggestions, and every bite was better than the last. A perfect start to our visit to London, and a definite gem in the area, with a speakeasy vibe, incredible flavors and atmosphere. Worth a visit for sure!
