Ted’s Bulletin is a laid-back, classic American community restaurant, bakery and bar, serving craveable American cuisine in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Whether it’s family dinner, business lunch, or just a Ted’s Tart and coffee to-go, we’re as adaptable as your life is dynamic. Discover dishes that bring balance and warmth to your table. Begin with our Whipped Ricotta, featuring marinated roasted tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and basil on artisan sourdough. Enjoy the Shiitake Mushroom Bolognese with creamy pappardelle and savory mushroom ragu, or the Mustard + Sesame Crusted Tuna Bowl, served with jasmine rice, crisp vegetables, and sticky garlic sauce. Savor the bold flavors of our Blackened Salmon, paired with buttered grits and a spicy Creole crab sauce, or the fresh and vibrant Halloumi Kale Salad, featuring grilled halloumi, pickled onions, candied almonds, pomegranate seeds, everything seasoning, and tahini vinaigrette. We splurged on a Valentine’s Day dinner experience so we ordered beverages and food in quantities that we we don’t normally order. For example, I normally enjoy one beer per meal. On this occasion, I ordered three cocktails and a boozy milkshake. They were all very tasty, but I felt as if I only had the alcohol equivalent of one beer. (This might be common at bars and restaurants as far as I know.) For starters, we ordered Loaded Tots. Delicious. The side salads were tasty. Entrees: Blackened Salmon and Short Rib Pot Roast. They were so delicious that we ordered the same to take home. Finally, the service was exceptional. We had no right to better service than this. Overall, it was a delightful Valentine’s Day experience.

The food was so good!!!!!! The best brunch I've had since living in DC for 2 years. I got biscuits and gravy and my boyfriend got steak and eggs. Both were excellent. The only thing I didn't love was that the orange juice had pulp.

We like Ted's menu, and the atmosphere and location, all of which keep us coming back. The one thing that seems consistently poor is service.

The food here was delicious and came out quick but our server was a bit slow. Great experience overall and definitely recommend.

Asked for tea, the hot water was only warm. It was a cold day and extremely cold in the restaurant. I had to wear my hat and jacket inside to stay warm.

My party and I enjoyed our experience and we sat at the bar! The bartenders were great, very personable, and able to suggest alternatives. They provided recommendations for the menu as well. Everyone enjoyed their food. I picked something different, smoked salmon on a huge hash brown. I would’ve given the food a 5, but the flavors are in my dish didn’t mesh well enough together, for me.
