Established in 2017, Téatro Bar & Restaurant is the sister business to the nationally recognised Barn Theatre, located nextdoor to Ingleside Hotel in Cirencester

We pride ourselves on offering a unique dining experience; offering quality, sourced produce formed into exquisite menus, alongside carefully crafted drinks, all served by our wonderful front of house staff.

Our stylishly designed restaurant and famous outdoor area, The Firepit, sit either side of our relaxing bar where live piano fills the air. Teatro is the ideal venue for any occasion; a birthday, pre theatre dinner, or a drink with friends.

    Sorry, have had nice meals previously but last night was very disappointing. Most of the menu wasn’t available including the set menu. I had steak that was very tough and seemed like it had be marinated in brine. Sent back the replacement sirloin stake twice, others had rump which seemed better but I had no time to get a replacement meal before the theatre.

    Lovely staff,very disappointed with dinner,informed waitress dauphinoise potatoes not cooked through,had finished dinner when fresh portion brought to table.desert was tasty. Discounted our glass of wine from bill.wouldn’t return.

    Quality of food was extremely disappointing. Chicken main was dry and clearly cooked in advance and reheated. My friend's baked alaska was so bad she had to send it back- stale cake base and soapy meringue which had been burnt with a blow torch. Nothing baked about it! After our disappointing meal we tried to save the evening by ordering cocktails in the bar. The French 75s were the highlight but we were appalled to be changed service charge of 12.5% on top of what were bar drinks!! Definitely won't be coming back.

    Very dissappointed with both meals that we had and even sent one back as it was over cooked and very hard to chew

    Had a pre theatre supper. Service excellent. Menu choice very good and varied me The food was superb. Meat cooked to perfection with really tasty sauces. Sticky toffee pudding to die for. Really light and moist. Would definitely recommend and return. Well done .

    A pre theatre dinner (show at 7.30, meal booking 5.45). We were still waiting for our main course at 6.50. This became a bit of a concern despite reassurance that we would make the start of the show. Therefore somewhat stressful and rushed. Food, however, was excellent.
