Tealicious was very busy that day and it seemed as only one person was working. It took time to get our tea but the site said to expected 30-40 mins of prep. I would say to make sure you always reserve a table. I can see your high tea taking longer time if you don't.

Love the staff especially our sweet waitress, so kind to my children and excellent server! Short brown hair and beautiful accent. Delicious food! Celebrated a birthday and she surprised us with candles!

Despite receiving a confirmation email, I was called by the place and told they could not have me at the confirmed time. After I complained and explained I had already canceled other appointments, and stated exactly what on the menu I was going to have (high tea), they confirmed the reservation and pretty much hanged up on me. I got there on time and had to go to the kitchen after 15 min of waiting, to let the waitress, who is also the chef, know that I was there. She did not apologize. Instead, she complained that there was nothing she could do because she was alone at the tea house. When she finally came to my table, I order the high tea and she said she could not do it because she “would have to stop everything just to prepare my tea for two”. I was perplexed! There were only other two tables being served in the whole place at the time, and they already had their food. She said I should have called in advance for the high tea. I said I had let them know the day they tried to cancel my reservation. She said I could have anything else from the menu but the high tea. It was my birthday celebration and I had only gone there for the high tea. She said there was nothing she could do. I ordered a chicken crepe with tea. It was the smallest crepe I have ever seen in my life and it cost $24. It was okay. Nothing special. No other employee was at the place at the moment. Just her, serving three tables including mine and she seemed overwhelmed. What kind of tea house can’t serve high tea requested in advance? They could have called me earlier that day to say they could not serve what I had requested but no! And no apologies either. The decoration at the place is beautiful. The food is okay but overpriced. Their tea selection is good. Service is terrible! Reservations cannot be trusted.

We walked into an empty restaurant with only 2 tables of people. The waitress didn't even acknowledge we had walked in and we were standing there for 5 mins. She asked us if we had a reservation, we had made a reservation on Open Table which they said they didn't have? The restaurant was empty so I didn't understand what the problem was? I showed her the reservation on my phone and she still seemed confused. She then said we couldn't order high tea as it is a 48-hour notice that was strange as it did not say that on the menu. Our waitress seemed clueless, inattentive and oblivious. We asked to speak to the manager and was told she wasn't there. The whole experience was weird and I would strongly recommend skipping this place-what a disappointment!

The experience was great! “High tea” tower is a little overpriced (30$ per person), but I guess it worth for a look. Will come back again :)

A delightful way to spend an afternoon with friends. Lunch was wonderful. A little pricey but well worth every penny.

this is a wonderful place to enjoy a quiet lunch with friends. the food was very good and the choices of tea are terrific. I always bring guests here for a unique lunch experience.
