   We loved the restaurant, but the experience with the hostess, Alex, was incredibly frustrating. She told us there was a 45-minute wait and that we needed a reservation—even though there were plenty of empty tables. I went on OpenTable and got a reservation within five minutes, proving that the wait time she gave us was completely inaccurate. When I mentioned this, Alex insisted they don’t take same-day reservations, which was clearly false. Thankfully, another hostess seated us, but Alex was rude and on a complete power trip. For someone working in the service industry, she clearly has no business being in it and should find another job. If management is aware of this kind of behavior, they should take action. The restaurant itself was fantastic, but dealing with her left a bad taste in our mouths before we even sat down.

   Our server Jeffrey was AWESOME making recommendations on wine, appetizers, and entrees with much enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu. The crab cakes and ceviche were great (both recommended by him). Unfortunately half our table got lobster dishes and they were extremely over salted to the point we didn’t eat the lobster. We’d still go back to try something else and enjoyed the atmosphere, walk, our waiter, and the incredible views.

   Last night was our first visit to Teak, and it has officially become a new family favorite. There is a nice selection of seafood entrees, and everything we ordered from the tuna to the halibut, and the seafood pasta was amazing. The drinks were delicious and the service was excellent

   We enjoyed our dinner and our server was delightful. The brussel sprouts were great. It was a new menu and my hubby missed their fish and chips, but the smashed 8 oz burger made him happy! Of course, the excitement of watching the boats, planes, dolphins and viewing the full moon last evening added to the evening.

    Our party of 4 were given a window seat since it was a Sunday evening and not too busy. The St Pete skyline at sunset was incredible. We had appetizers, entrees w sides and desert. The wine was an outstanding Super Tuscan. Every dish was exceptional with superlatives for the short rib. It was worth every penny. The service was outstanding with the manager stopping by just to see if we were having a good time. Highly recommend this dining experience.
