The Teak story began in the 1990s when the iconic restaurant opened in Cincinnati’s historic Mount Adams district. It was among the first authentic Thai restaurants in the Tri-State. Soon Teak became a neighborhood staple, serving delicious Thai cuisine with impeccable service. For 10 years Teak was named Cincinnati’s “Best Asian Cuisine,” “Best Sushi” and “Best Thai” by City Beat Magazine.

It was our first time and the sushi, seaweed salad, and our entrées were very good. Service was excellent.

Took out of town family here and everything was perfectly spiced and very plentiful( we took some home). Our waiter was attentive to water refills. Food came out hot.

My wife and I have been looking for a good Thai restaurant close to home that we could go to occasionally. I made the reservation for our anniversary to Teak since it was close to home and in our favorite place called Loveland. The sushi was great. My pad thai was great with just the right heat. My wife's curry dish came out in a cool bowl and the right kind of heat as well. Our drink were delicious as well. I got a smokey and spice old fashion that hit the spot. The atmosphere was OK and with some of the tables being so close it was hard to have light conversation. Fortunately for me being a man I don't hear very well anyway. Just ask my wife. We will still go back. The food and drinks were great but may ask for outdoor or bar seating.

A fantastic restaurant for some exceptional sushi and Tai food. Really enjoyed the staff and atmosphere. We sat at a tall table on the patio, had a bottle of wine and enjoyed the sushi and Tai dish. Highly recommend!

I never write a review but feel that this was terrible service and could have ended in a far more serious situation. When ordering, My husband made sure the waitress knew he was gluten free. He restated it 3 times. I ordered my food with a spice tolerance of 0. After ordering our wine, the waitress came back and said that they were sold out of the wine,so we ordered another brand instead. When our food came, my husband asked if it was gluten free, and the server who was not our waitress said yes but not with confidence. You could see the red pepper spice on my dish, and I tried it. It was definitely not a zero and extremely spicy for me. While we waited for our waitress to come to check on us, I told my husband to go ahead and eat his food. It took awhile, so I ate my husband’s rice. After he had eaten 5-6 bites, the waitress came back and told my husband not to eat the food because it did have gluten in it. She forgot to write it down. Thank goodness his gluten allergy isn’t extreme. I told her that my dish was not a zero for spice tolerance. She took both of our dishes back. We waited another 15-20 minutes and finally got the right order. When the check came, we were told that the original wine was still on the order, and that the waitress subtracted at the bottom the difference. She did not acknowledge the inaccurate orders…one which was an allergy issue. We said that we were shocked at the mistake with our orders and there wasn’t compensation or even the manager to come and speak to us. The waitress came back with the bill again and offered a 20%, but I believe the manager wasn’t aware of the issue and the waitress was trying to cover the mistakes with the wine and food by offering us the family/friends 20% discount. My husband still tipped the waitress, but if I had paid that night, I probably wouldn’t have been as generous.

Great food and excellent service. I had the yellow curry at 7 heat, perfect. The bike trail sushi roll is my go to favorite

Dinner was very good, but we were shocked that we were charged tax on a tax holiday and even after mentioning it, we weren’t refunded. They refused.

We have eaten here a few times and it seems to get worse each time. Last night they brought out our dinner - and forgot we ordered appetizers. A mild - oh sorry. Dinner sweet and our chicken had very little chicken or veggies - mostly sauce - pineapple and peppers. My wife a chicken stir fry with a 3 for spice and it came out like a 7-8. The waitress saw us once to take our order and then give us the check. Pretty poor overall. Not much to like except we enjoy the outdoor seating

Loved my first visit here! It won’t be my last! We sat in the bar area at a hightop and loved the vibe. Service and food were both spot on:)
