This is a hotel lobby. It is not a restaurant. If you are looking for a dining experience - this is not it.

DO NOT EAT HERE for Thanksgiving or any holiday function. My husband and I ate here for our Thanksgiving meal and we were very disappointed with the food and service we received. Our chicken pot pie soup was cold as well as our turkey and gravy entree. The only meal we received that was warm was our dessert that we ordered to go because it took 30 minutes for it to be prepared. Our waitress recognized the service we received and did comp our drinks. If you really want a nice, quality, holiday dinner, do not eat here.

The food was excellent and so were the cocktails! The little details that show how the space was once a school are exciting, from the menus to the names of the cocktails to the fact that they retained so many classic components of the school make the space really exciting!

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Located in the old “Emily Griffith School“ building which is now the Slate Hotel. Breakfast was excellent!
