I had a great dinner the last time I was at Teachers' Lounge but this time left something to be desired. I had the salmon dish this time. It arrived with a wonderful crust and on top of a bed of pearl couscous. I would have liked it less done (and was not asked about how I'd like it done) and it was served with no vegetables at all. It would have been a far more appealing dish had it arrived with a bit of broccoli or asparagus or something colorful on the side. The waiter was great. After I had paid the bill, I found out he was a student at CU Denver so I left some extra cash. And I love what you've done with the old Emily Griffith building.

Service was slow. Server not aware of menu as customer inquired about ingredients in a dish and server had no idea it was in the dish. Serving the customer who is highly allergic and broke out in the hives due to the negligence of the server, not knowing what’s on the menu. Pasta had no flavor and overcooked gremolata nonexistent on the dish and the chicken killed twice.

I went here for an early birthday celebration and it was fun! The Salmon was a little smaller than I was expybut the cab and apps were good! Service was great and even got the s’mores dessert with a bonus PB&J dessert (can’t remember what it was called) but would totally go back just for the dessert!

We had an excellent meal after a bit of a wait to get seated at our reservation time. We enjoyed the heirloom tomato salad, elote fries (yum!), birria tacos, salmon, and two drinks (Jamberry something with mezcal and the green apple mocktail). The drinks were absolute standouts and we devoured the elote fries. My daughter raved about the flavor and tenderness of the salmon. Our server, Summer, was kind and efficient. The restaurant doesn’t have much ambience, but makes up for it in quality and value!

Celebrated my birthday with 5 friends, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The drinks were great, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The Teachers Lounge made my birthday memorable in the best way. Thank you so much!

Nice space. There was no one there when we got there at about 8 o’clock on a Monday night. Server was a nice guy, relatively new. It would’ve been all right, except I had to get into an argument about the drinks. First, even though no one was there, it took about 20 minutes to get a couple of cocktails. I just had vodka in a martini glass. It is very hard to explain that very simple order for some reason. Anyway, when we got the bill, I noticed that they charge me for two drinks. I said to the waiter, “all of your special drinks are $16. I did not have a special drink that took advantage of your bartenders prodigious skills of Mixology. It had nothing added to it. Why would you charge me for two of them?” I was really just trying to make a point. So, the server had to go back to this bartender who took 20 minutes to prepare the drinks when no one was there, and he came back and said, “sorry, we have to charge for two.” I just shook my head and paid the bill. But I think it was very silly to not only charge me for two drinks, but to refuse to modify the bill when I complained. This is the first time I have ever commented on a dining experience. Given that many people base their restaurant selection on reviews, however, it makes it all the more odd that that would have happened

Would not sit is, did not honor our reservation time. Hostess was rude and then changed my reservation time without my approval.
