    The varieties were good and the tea was delicious and cold, but very expensive

    The staff at The Biltmore must be the nicest in London. They could not have been more accommodating and lovely. The decoration was very pretty. It is a shame that it was so quiet as it deserves to be busier. My only hesitation is that some of the savoury things had sugar on them,the mushroom tart had sugar crystals on the pastry. This should be more of a destination for afternoon tea.

    We booked afternoon tea for three but only seem to recurve afternoon tea for two yet paid for three. Very over priced compared to other afternoon teas I’ve had the team were good but didn’t really know what they were serving and you are just stuck in the lobby so not really a nice atmosphere.

    Fantastic location and amazing staff. I arrived early, checked in and thought I would wait until my time. However they went out of their way and accommodated me early. The food was not only attractive but extraordinarily good.

    First the good: beautiful hotel and the restaurant Manager. Now the not so good. Food was a bit bland and as a result uninspiring. While the hotel is beautiful afternoon tea basically took place in the hotel lobby that has been named the tea lounge. Service was mediocre with a lot of confusion regarding cost that we had prepaid for online that did not match either of the two listed on the menu. Server struggled to explain the discrepancy, mislead us a couple of times and even during the service was challenged with details (including remembering to bring us plates that she had offered to bring) even tho the venue was not very busy. Kudos to the manager who eventually came over and tried to make it right a little late unfortunately as our initial excitement was long gone but did handle the situation quite professionally. For the money they charge I think there are better experiences in the city….
