This was a special event for a Mardi Gras luncheon which advertised live music and there was none. The food was good but atmosphere lacking for a Mardi Gras event.

We had a fabulous luncheon and day, the service was great and the food top notch. Enjoyed the specialty cocktails, too.

My wife and I visited to celebrate her birthday. We were very pleased with the food, service and overall experience. We started with the meatballs (a must order!), then had our entrees: the filet was cooked to perfection and the lasagna bolognese was delicious. We also had the Tchefuncte potato’s - so good!

Three of five dishes were not edible. Cold seafood appetizers were very small portions and overpriced. Service was good. I will only go to have cocktails at the bar.

Absolutely outstanding meal and service. Best dining experience we have had on the Northshore, and one of the best experiences we have had at any restaurant ever. We had the porkbelly cinnamon roll, surf & turf tartare, osso bucco, scallop special, & chocolate mousse cheesecake. Recommend all, but the tartare is a MUST ORDER. We were treated with a welcome taste from the chef, a Thai chili broth that was absolutely divine. Wine list had many great options by the glass and by the bottle. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Don’t wait for a special occasion to try Tchefuncte’s- go as soon as you can!

I brought my family to Tchefuncte’s for my birthday, and the staff made the experience so special. Incredible service and outstanding food - a winning combination!

The food was absolutely wonderful. The pricing is about 60-75 dollars per person. (Includes alcoholic beverages) We never felt rushed or forgotten. The staff is incredible. The appetizer oysters and BBQ shrimp were both amazing. There was a two man ensemble (clarinet and guitar) that played jazz and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We could not afford to go all the time but have enjoyed eating here each time we have.
