Overall we really enjoyed the food . We had the heirloom salad with a very spicy dressing that was very overpowering . The Salmon was excellent but the green beans with squash was extremely spicy and we had to drink a lot of water . Way too spicy for most of the other guest as well . We really enjoyed the resteraunt and will go back . Be warned that the food is extremely spicy .

Abernethy changes menu every 3 months. Food was very good except for dessert which just dried out cake.

Two of us had a wonderful dining experience before the play at the Mark Taper. The service was outstanding. We went with the recommendations from the server and were delighted with the tomatillo salad and the bison. Multiple layers of flavors. We also had the quail and the sweet potatoes with the spicy dipping sauce and they were also great. The Ancient Fizz-eezy bubbly with the tomatillo salad was a perfect match. Kudos to the chef and the staff!!

Took my partner for his birthday before a show. It was our first time, and even though they were short-staffed that night (I honestly didn't notice) it was exactly the evening I hoped for. Exquisitely prepared dishes in an upscale casual setting. They were accommodating, gracious, friendly professional. Our server Nadia made it a truly special evening, guiding us through the menus, recommending items for our specific needs and creating the perfect atmosphere to celebrate. The Heirloom Tomato salad with pickled blueberries was excellent, as well as the Braised Bison, the chef's signature dish with a perfect combination of flavors. The cocktails were also impeccably crafted, so arrive early enough to enjoy those too. We arrived a little before 6, and I recommend giving yourself at least that much time to relax and enjoy everything they have to offer, then walk right over to the theatre in plenty of time. It is not inexpensive, but well worth it. We will be back for another special occasion! Thank you, Nadia!

The food was wonderful. Loved the blend of Native American and Mexican cuisine. Our server was very informative and very friendly. We had a lovely time.

The food was exceptional and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and every one of the many special requests treated by waiter and chef respectfully. The commitment to authenticity within the menu is to be saluted.

This is my go to whenever we see shows at the Music Center. I love the emerging chef concept and we have tried so many wonderful types of cuisines from across the city! They are great about getting us fed in plenty of time for curtain
