Independent Italy restaurant based in Leamington Spa. Offering a wide range of Italian dishes, pastas, pinsa romana, home-made bread, steaks. All of our ingredients are either sourced locally or straight from Italy, to ensure the best possible quality. Open 7 days a week from 11am come in for a coffee and cake or a wonderful lunch, join us later in the evening for expertly made cocktails in a warm relaxed environment.

Tavola has been very nicely done out recently. We went straight after work at 5.15, so there was only one person serving which meant a bit of a wait for attention and the music in the bar seemed a bit loud at that time with so few people there. Service was friendly and professional and the food was tasty. However, I have marked it down on value for money because my portion of zucchini frites was so small. £5 for a small bowl which was only a third full. Very much over priced. I would try it again though.

Starters arrived promptly and were very good. Unfortunately, it went down hill from there. Waited 40 minutes for 3 out of 4 mains. The 4th, Spaghetti Carbonara arrived after everyone else had finished. It was revolting and sent back. It really was just spaghetti, lots of olive oil and over cooked bacon lardons! We had a similar experience on our previous visit. Won’t be back

Amazing food cooked by an Italian Chef from Toscany, plus a very pleasant customer service.

We were early the evening and our area in the restaurant was pleasantly quiet, the drinking area was noisier but did not intrude. The service was excellent, without being in your face, food was excellent too. The hand drawn beer was very good, this is the Windmill Hill Brewery tap, but it would have been nice to have a choice of real ales with more hand pumps, there is only one. The restaurant was somewhat on the cool side, perhaps the early evening slot on a cold January day. My partner hopes the loo issues in the ladies are soon resolved, the staff are aware. Would we return, without a doubt, and already looking forward to it.

Starters (tapas) were lovely a a good price. Main (burger) was very mediocre, a bit dry and just bland. Definitely not worth the £10 for just the burger. Cheesy chips were smothered with American plastic cheese so not my favourite but were OK. Drinks and bar service were great. A little lack luster with the ambiance in the dining area for a Saturday night.

Absolutely lovely place to eat and socialise. We had a family meal, young teenagers to late sixties and this place suited great. Food was very nice. Service was absolutely excellent. Their staff are a credit to them. Perhaps a little more pricey than some places but food was worth it.

We went back to Bar44 after a good time there several minths ago, however this time we were sorely disappointed. Setting was OK but cold inside. Sevice was intermittent, for example 3 of the 4 of us had finished our puddings before they served the 4th person with their ice cream. The food was expensive for what it was and was poor 1) Spaghetti Carbonara was tasteless and bizarrely had breaded chicken thrown on the top. 2) Shawama was classed as a large plate but was nothing more than a tortilla wrap with humous on top with some salad and 4 Falafel balls on top and cost £15! 3) Sticky toffee pudding was very stodgy & not cooked. We certainly won't be going back.
