At Tavola, we’ve set a table for the whole family that is both welcoming and delicious. Located at BridgeWay Station, Mauldin’s new town center, Tavola is truly a feast for the eyes with its Italian countryside-inspired architecture and cuisine. Executive Chef Beau Owens delivers authentic, crave-worthy dishes with robust bowls of scratch-made pastas made daily, the best focaccia bread, small and shareable plates of arancini, classic meatballs, and clams oreganata plus the finest cuts of steaks, chops and seafood.

Very attractive restaurant and Matt gave outstanding service. Loved the pulled mozzarella appetizer but the chicken parmigiana was overcooked and needed more mozzarella and the side pasta lacked taste and needed more marinara.

I doubt we will be returning. Although Tavola is lovely, in a beautiful setting.. the food is subpar at best. Our waitress was personable, helpful and answered questions. We were four guests. Two of us ordered the focaccia, which was very good. Two of us also ordered what was listed on the menu as grilled romaine. A chopped salad arrived, and no where did I see a bit of charred lettuce. Two diners order the chicken Parmesan which they both said was dry and overcooked. One ordered the shrimp … and enjoyed it. I ordered a bowl of pasta fagioli. What arrived was a mushy bowl of overcooked pasta… there was literally no broth to speak of. I am not a complainer, but in this case I told our waiter I would really like some soup/broth in my bowl with my mushy and extremely overcooked pasta. My bowl was taken away and returned with a bowl of watery and tasteless broth. I didn’t finish it. My assessment is that this restaurant needs a more authentic Italian menu, and a chef who knows how to cook good Italian food. For me, this restaurant is “ one and done”

What a great new restaurant. Exceptional food, and service at a reasonable price. I had gnocchi with a lamb sauce that was spectacular. My wife had taglia that was just as good. My highest recommendations.

Service was excellent and the food was outstanding! We celebrated my husband’s birthday there and they made everything very special for the celebration.

First time at Tavola. Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable for a high end italian steak house. A great date place. Not a family place for little kids. Food was excellent, service attentive. Would definitely come again

The food and service were overall great! There was some confusion at the hostess station about the table I reserved and the hostess was not the most friendly, but after that everything went smoothly. Each course was delicious and well presented.

Everything was great! The food was awesome, the steak was great! Couldn’t have asked for it to be cooked better. My girlfriend and I sat at the chefs table and we talked with some of the cooks. I kept seeing the Alfredo pasta being prepared over and over again. We finished our meal and had to try it out and see what all the fuss was about. And I have to say that pasta was probably the highlight of both our meals. We had to ask who prepared it to say thank you for the delicious food. Thank you Troy for such a great ending to an amazing meal. We hope to see you soon!

Overall a good option especially for the convenient location. The food was solid the service was ok. It is a new restaurant and I am sure they are working some kinks out still. I will absolutely go back.
