VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

Amazing atmosphere, the food was delicious. We had the Lamb chops and Chicken Souvlaki and both were amazing and cooked perfectly.

I took clients here to celebrate. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was amazing. We especially liked the smoked Old Fashioned and the appetizer with dips. My clients can’t wait to come back. We didn’t have room for dessert.

Food was good and so was the service. The calamari was especially tender and tasty. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought a nice dessert with a big beautiful sparkler on it. That was pretty exciting!

Great place to celebrate a birthday. Food was outstanding - plenty of options. Didn't feel rushed.

Honestly the food was ok. The drinks were not great either. I wasn’t the only one. There bartender that was making drinks for other people had to remake drinks because people kept taking them back. I don’t know what it is about this place and Lyra but the food is always below average , and the drinks are bad. The vibes are cool but what’s the point if everything else is no good.

We were in a back room which was not ideal for the atmosphere but food and service were excellent as always.

The food and drinks were SO delicious. The spicy feta was so good and not too spicy. The chicken thigh souvlaki was cooked perfectly. I also had to order two of the Aphrodite cocktail—yummm! It was super loud and parking was a bit of a pain (they do have a valet option though). But I stick with my 5 star review because of how awesome everything was! Can’t help that people want to be there and have a good time!
