VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

Had a wonderful experience as this restaurant for my birthday dinner.. From the ambience to the food and then drinks… No complaints at all!!!

We had an amazing time celebrating a friends bday! Our host was attentive and the service was seamless. With that being said, the noise level was just too much. We were in a separate room but because the there was no sound proofing anywhere for the majority of the dinner it was difficult to have conversations with each other. Some noise is good but were there to enjoy a nice meal and each others company and felt the noise was way too loud for that.

The food is amazing; service was fantastic; and the outdoor patio is a very nice atmosphere. Don't miss the lamb gyros.

I couldn't get reservations at other restaurants, I was able to here, now I know why. The food wasn't all that desirable, really small portions , for heavens sake don't order the octopus. The kids menu chicken tenders were burnt to a crisp. The only decent meal was the linguini with lobster, probably because it was pasta. The prices are outrageous, all the other restaurants were full, this one wasn't. This restaurant should not even be at this location, or they should consider drastically reducing their pricing and get a new Chef. I would not recommend this place to nobody. Cheesecake factory is your better bet....

Food was excellent! Our server was good but she was the only server covering three large parties—so service was very slow
