Enjoy your favorite Italian dishes at Taverna Mercatto. This roomy trattoria offers made-to-order dishes and an expansive wine list, served in spacious chic settings that include a shaded patio. Helmed by Chef Doug Neigel, the restaurant’s menu includes fresh salads, tasty appetizers, pizza and hearty pasta dishes. Taverna Mercatto also offers a fine selection of wine, carefully curated to provide the right complement to its daily menu.

Part of a larger family of restaurants, this restaurant is a suitable pick for a quiet dinner or group outing with friends. Guests can opt to either enjoy their meals within the lively, industrial-style dining room, or al fresco, out on the patio. Taverna Mercatto also offers a special catering menu for private events.

Your table will be reserved for an hour and a half for parties of 2-3, two hours for parties of 4-6, and 2.5 hours for parties 7-8.

We had the best waiter who was very helpful with recommendations. Because we were seated in a sepal dining area the noise level was tolerable and you could hear yourself speak. As always, the food was fantastic.

Absolutely amazing experience, really kind server, asked preferences and allergies right away, food was very good and came out surprisingly fast, was expecting about 30 minute wait for food to come out due to how busy it was, food was out fresh in 3 minutes, great vibe, would highly recommend

The food and service was absolutely amazing ! The location is very convenient for pre- show dining at Scotiabank or Rogers Center.

We have eaten at this restaurant a few times and I would say the service and food yesterday was the best we have experienced. We were not impressed with the Arancini. For the price it was a very small portion. They tasted delicious though. We had pizza and pasta and a caesar salad. All delicious. Our service was excellent. I would definitely go back again.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, however the service was terrible. It took 15 min to get water, the server kept walking by, making eye contact but doing nothing. part of the meal came out, then we had to ask for the other dish, no offer for another drink.. there was adequate staff so no excuse.

The 3 pizzas we ordered all had a portion of the crust burnt. The last time I went to this restaurant it was the same thing. When we sat down our table top was sticky meaning it was not cleaned. Tables are close together and extremely noisy in the restaurant. I will not be going back

The calamari, Ceasar salad and prosciutto pizza that we shared were all amazing! Didn't have room for lasagna however I've had it there before and it is delicious as well!!! All these dishes are our "go to" when we visit. John was our server and kept it together very well considering it was an extremely busy Taylor Swift concert night...

Delicious food and drinks! Menu had a great variety of options and prices were pretty acceptable.

Nice restaurant, close to Rogers Centre. Food was very good but portions were small. Service was excellent.
