Taverna is a restaurant utilizing authentic Italian flavors to create memorable dishes. This restaurant is designed from the ground up to be a neighborhood bistro. Taverna is meant to be the kind of restaurant that guests can bring their family for either a casual meal or to celebrate special occasions. While the inside of the restaurant is cozy, the best place to enjoy the great food is out on the wraparound patio.Taverna is open for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on the weekends. During lunch and dinner service, guests will find a large variety of menu items available. Pasta, soups, salads and pizza are all popular choices. Taverna is also known for their risotto, as an entire section of the menu is devoted to the "risotteria". The signature risotto topped with a simple blend of parmesan cheese and black truffle cream sauce.

We had an outstanding meal and great service from Nico. My wife had a filet served with asparagus, baby carrots, and creamy mashed potatoes. The steak was high quality and cooked to perfection. I had the daily special, sautéed fresh snapper topped with lump crabmeat, lemon butter sauce, asparagus, and whipped potatoes. It was all cooked just right. While the restaurant is somewhat small and perhaps has a bit less ambiance than some higher end restaurants, the price and value were far superior.

The food was incredible for everyone in our party and the server did a great job taking care of us. Will definitely come back.

Nice restaurant in a great location. I felt like I was in NYC eating on a busy street after sunset. The food is delicious. The appetizers are humongous! Entree size is perfect, and they were flavorful. Staff was attentive and friendly. Noise level was slightly above moderate. Loud, but not too loud to hear your at your table. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Charles was absolutely amazing! He was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu to select choices that would be delicious and safe for a member of our party with a severe gluten allergy (celiac). She enjoyed her meal and did not get sick, which speaks to the allergen procedures upheld in this kitchen. As a parent of a child with celiac, this worry-free experience is one-in-a-million. Way to go Taverna, and THANK YOU to Charles!!

A glass door in the restroom fell in the bathroom while my mom was in there. But the chefs food was amazing the waitress was truly funny with out trying to be and the price is what you would expect for a night out on the town in the city. No one was hurt & our night in the city wasn’t ruined by a bathroom door lol. All around we’ll need fun and definitely hit the spot. Get you a Rome the waitress. She keep rolling with the punches and she was beautiful not that that matter but do they hire models or something. Food was heavenly except the one with ribs but 7 out 1 isn’t bad. We’re African American so ribs have to taste a certain way to us. Besides that absolutely heavenly. Also They responded to the bathroom door debacle with ease and quite honestly Secret Service abilities they move the door from the bathroom through the restaurant and I didn’t even notice it was quick. It was my mom was in and out and half a second by the way she’s 73 years old, but still the experience did not interfere with our restaurant experience. I just wish I had tipped the waitress more for the memories of the night we experience.

Loved the special, Butternut squash risotto with scallop and pork belly. Would have liked one more scallop and less pork belly. Excellent gnocchi with short ribs!

We love Taverna! They were able to accommodate us inside even though I booked the patio. I’m sure we lucked out on that, and was very happy with our waiter Soner!
