When the owners of Taverna Costale originally moved their families to Florida, they did so to create a revolution in hospitality. Their blueprint for success can be summed up in two simple words: People first.

It is a commitment to those they work alongside, by creating welcoming, supportive environments in which to grow. It is a passion to deliver warm, welcoming experiences for their guests. It is the desire to make positive changes within their neighborhood through community outreach.

Have been many times for brunch, but had not experienced dinner and wow— outstanding food all around! We enjoyed the shrimp and meatball appetizers, super delicious. Entrees of pizza, lamb shank, crab pasta and ciopinno. Everything was delicious. We noted in our resy we were celebrating a birthday and everyone was so kind to the birthday girl and provided a comp dessert, which was delicious/unexpected and a nice touch! The vibe is excellent! Drinks were great. We often get trapped going to the same restaurants for dinner on Beach Drive and so glad we hit you all for dinner. Will definitely make it a regular!

In all of DTSP, this is probably my favorite upscale restaurant. It's the one that, when my friends are in from out of town and ask for recommendations, that's where I send them (or accompany them). The atmosphere is great, the service is relaxed, the food is incredible. There were six of us tonight and we each had a different appetizer and entree. There was not as bad bite. Then we ended with dessert. The pistachio cake was so most and flannel and I loved the seas salt caramel gelato. Again, six happy campers. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Service by Blaze was wonderful, food was excellent. Loved the crab cakes appetizer special, all entrees delicious, and the caramel cheesecake and the lemoncello cake that we split was a fabulous ending.

Always amazing! Service was impeccable as usual! The food here is very creative, delicious and extremely fresh. The have the best avocado toast in St. Pete hands down. Excellent experience all the way around every time!
