La brasserie Tavern On Rush est un steakhouse contemporain proposant un vaste menu de plats américains classiques, dont les steaks de qualité USDA primés et vieillis, des côtelettes, des fruits de mer, des pizzas, des hamburgers, des pâtes, des plats du jour uniques et bien plus encore. La brasserie Tavern est munie d'un bar et d'un salon animés où un producteur de musique vous fera bénéficier d'une playlist énergique et branchée 7 nuits par semaine. L'atmosphère chaleureuse et accueillante est renforcée avec un présentoir à bouteilles en forme de fer à cheval, des éléments en bois d'acajou, des nappes en lin, un service exceptionnel ainsi que de grandes fenêtres offrant une vue panoramique sur la rue animée Rush Street. Aménagé à l'extérieur, le café patio de la brasserie Tavern a été élu « Meilleur lieu pour un repas en plein air » par le Chicago Scene Magazine. Équipé d'une télévision haute définition à écran plat, c'est l'endroit parfait pour dîner tout en profitant des rayons du soleil d'un après-midi ensoleillé ou pour souper avec des amis lors d'une belle soirée d'été. Les réservations ne sont pas acceptées pour le patio.

Amazing food and service. Will return for sure. But the place is very loud, making it hard to talk for an extended period of time.

I’m a Chicago native and have been going to all the restaurants in the Gold Coast for a long time. I’ve been to the old Tavern so many times. Unfortunately, we went with another couple last nite and the service was terrible. The waitress was very nice but very inexperienced and that’s OK. I blame ownership and management. Tavern has been around for a long time and never used to fail like they did last nite. It took us 1 hour to receive our initial drinks and our food was average at best. We ordered a lot of food. Burrata, Tuna Tartar were excellent. Table bread was small portioned and more importantly was terrible and butter was worthless. Both definitely need to be improved immediately . We also had the 10 oz filet with Brussel sprouts broccolini and pork belly fried rice. Brussel sprouts were tasty yet were the flaky leaves and not an abundant amount for 17 dollars. The filet was tasty yet it was warm not hot as a steak should be. Broccolini and fried rice were excellent. The place has a ton of improvements to do to stay afloat to survive and be consistent with the old tavern. For dessert we went across the street to Gibsons as we were unimpressed despite being excited that Tavern finally reopened. Again I know the city and I know all the restaurants and Tavern needs to Jack up there service to stay alive to keep up with its previous history of excellence. For the amount of money one is spending on the food, they must deliver Quality!! I will try it one more time in a few months and hopefully by then the inconsistencies and quality is much better. Overall experience last nite was a C-

Our friends were celebrating with us . . . Tavern on Rush provided the perfect setting. The food continues from the old place to be top notch . . . our server, Kelly, was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our return to this marvelous restaurant!

Sat us late. Messed up our order and when we told the server he gave us attitude. Server also rushed us into ordering entrees and paying our bill. Not worth the money

Highlights: steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. The chocolate cake was awesome!! Negatives: Insanely expensive, appetizer of Ricotta Dip was absolutely tasteless, music was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talk...

Had a late lunch/ early dinner last minute. Had a drink at the bar and then ate in the atrium. Reallly pretty space. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Timing was great. So happy with the new space for TOR! Fresh and beautiful!
