I’m older, so it was very loud for me, but I enjoyed my meal as did my family and the service was outstanding for such a busy night!!

Food and service were solid but very loud. Was there for an early dinner with my young daughter so not a big deal.

When arriving for my reservation time, there were four people at the greeting counter as I approached. Two never looked my way and walked away. The other two kept going with their personal conversation until one of them finally decided to acknowledge me. The young lady said well I’m not even working anymore, but I guess I’ll check her in. I was a nuisance instead of a client. Very disappointing. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes for a table, despite having a reservation.

Good "pub" food. Consistently good. A bit noisy, but it is a nice family place.

The server was amazing and the food was excellent. However, we went to Tavern in the Square specifically to enjoy the final game of the NY Liberty vs Minnesota Lynx WNBA championship season while having our nice meal. The TVs that were visible to me were all playing the NLCS, so I asked the server if one of the TVs could be tuned to the WNBA game. She asked the responsible person, twice, and the person did not address the request. Worse, the MLB game ended while the WNBA still had a half to go, and all that was being shown was a bunch of talking heads, with no closed captioning either. I don't know if there was a bias against showing women's sports at this location, but I was very frustrated. Watching on my phone was not quite the same.

This is one of our local go to’s. Consistently very good. Comprehensive menu. Great service. Nice space. We’ll be back again soon

My friend and i were catching up over a late lunch. The noise level was considerably less than a weekend day. Our food was great and our server was attentive and energetic.

Great place and ambiance for a Saturday night. The place for seeing people enjoying a space of leisure. Nice food, nice service, noisy yes but that is what you expect on a Saturday night right ?

Went to Tavern in the Square last night for the first time with my wife and two friends. I will cut to the chase; we will never return here again. Let me explain. The server was friendly and took our order quickly, which was nice. Things went downhill after that. It took over 25 minutes for us to get just our appetizers. We sat 5-10 minutes after the appetizers arrived, trying to find our server since she never gave us any silverware. All liked both apps. My wife and my meals showed up about 20 minutes later. My friend's meals did not show up. After waiting 15 more minutes, we tracked down our server to inform her that our friends still had not received their meals. In the meantime, my friends asked us to start while they waited for their meals. Mine was decent, but my wife ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, and it was ice cold in the middle -- inedible. The server took it back to the kitchen. The server arrived 10 minutes later with a freshly cooked Pot Pie from the kitchen. So that you know, our guests STILL need their meals. After another 5-10 minutes, our friend's meals show up. One of our guests went to use her knife to find it covered in dried food, so we had to wait some longer while the server brought new silverware. One of the guests ordered the Steak Tips. Unfortunately, they were ice cold, as were the broccoli and the mashed potatoes that came with her meal. Not wanting to deal with this place anymore, she just ate it. We all agreed this meal was a total disaster and would agree never to return here again.
