Tavern House is the creation of restaurateurs David Wilhelm and Gregg Solomon who have developed numerous Orange County restaurants over the past 25 years, including Kachina, Bistro 201, Barbacoa, Chat Noir, Diva, Sorrento Grille and French 75. The menu reflects a collection of Chef Wilhelm's popular signature seafood and comfort food dishes. A large centrally located bar drives a vibrant night time scene in what is arguably one of the best view locations in Newport Harbor. It also has fireplace lit, 50 seat private room for banquets.

It was a great dinner. The food was good. The service was good and the waitress went out of her way to make sure everything went well.

We live in AZ and it was our first time at Tavern House. I saw many positive reviews about the restaurant and we are so glad we tried it. The food was great and the views are too. Special thanks to Nori our server. She guided us through the menu and because of her we enjoyed Tavern House even more!

Always love this place when we come in. Food is top notch, service is great, prices are very reasonable for what you get. Owner is present most nights and will walk around and converse with guests about the quality of everything. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner spot with a view!

Great consistent experience. Made my special needs daughter feel very welcome and relaxed. Hats off to the super sweet hostess who let us up and down the lift!

We had a great experience for my boyfriend’s birthday and they provided all the accommodations I requested upon booking and pushed our reservation out as we were running late! Food is always good and service was great!

Met my girlfriends here for dinner on a Thursday. I had made a reservation and we were seated right away. The cocktail menu had nothing but delicious drinks. I had the Butterfly Garden but we all had a sip of them all. Delicious coconut shrimp app. Hands down, the best French Dip I have ever had. And the service was top notch. We were seated by the window and a great view of the sunset
