A great place for happy hour. Though the menu is limited the flatbread and sushi selections are great values. They have a nice patio area and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Really good food and great atmosphere. The patio is one of our favorite outdoor spots in the metro area. Service is always good. We did get an incorrect entree but just enjoyed it and didn't tell the waiter. He was very nice.

Deliciousness in every bite! Great variety of foods offered, from Sushi to street tacos, which is what I had! YUM! It comes with this creamy corn dish that is so good! The carne asada meat was good but could have been warmer. Still yummy! Portions perfect! Service was spot on. Great ambiance inside, we however sat outside on the patio, and it was super nice. We will definitely be back!

Service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Menu was diverse. Was really active and loud. Would have preferred a quieter meal. Overall, glad we tried it.

We’ve been coming to Tavern 23 for many years and have always had excellent service but today was a huge exception. The gentleman waiting on us was very inept. We got drinks eventually but waited forever to even place an order. He and several other waitstaff were just standing around the register in the back talking and looking in some books they all seemed to have. I finally had to wave him down. After we got our food which was fine but he never returned to find out if all was well and see if we might want drink refills. We hadn’t been here for awhile and it will probably be a long time before we return.
