We believe wine is better with food & food is better with wine. A perfect pairing is an experience everyone should enjoy..often. We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. He then took his talents to Florida's Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star. Chef Julian is passionate about sourcing hyperlocal ingredients & has a strong focus on sustainability. Our service team, including ten sommeliers is proud to offer guests more than 1000 wines by the bottle. We are a casually elegant wine bistro open Tues-Sat 5PM to 10PM. The Champagne Bar is open daily noon-10PM. Afternoon Tea & Champagne Experience is served Friday's & Saturday"s 11:30AM-2:30PM. Children are welcome on the patio. The Wine Bistro and Champagne Bar seat adults only. Live Music Nightly.

The Tasting House rear entrance is right next to City Parking Lot #1, off Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. Park anywhere in the lot and walk north towards Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. The Tasting House is on your left adjacent to the northwest corner of the lot.
Public transit
The Tasting House is right across Saratoga-Los Gatos road from the Los Gatos & University Bus Stop. Just walk down to University, cross the street, and head back up towards City Parking Lot 1. Walk into the parking lot and enter the Tasting House through our back entrance.

Join us Fridays and Saturdays for a live band from 6PM to 9PM and a Solo pianist Tuesday through Thursday 6PM to 8PM, sometimes accompanied by a vocalist.

Food was excellent. Like its name says, the menu is set up for “tastes” until you get to the main course. The small plates really are small, not meant to be shared unless everyone takes a bite of the item. The mains were generous and could be shared. Pairing suggestions were good. Wine was pricey but I loved the 3oz pour option if doing several for the pairings. Live music was a fun bonus but made the restaurant bar area very loud. Overall a wonderful meal.

I thought the waiter was at times overly attentive to the point of being annoying to completely disappearing and not being there when we actually needed something. We ordered the wine pairing with our entree but the entree came and the wine showed up long after the dish arrived, which defeats the point of a wine pairing. Overall, I thought some of the flavors were amazing but I wouldn't come back.

The service was wonderful, very knowledgeable. I very much enjoyed the food. They had live music that night and it was so lovely.

We loved the delicious and beautifully presented food. Highly recommend the beef carpaccio. The best we've ever tasted! We loved it paired with the recommended Brunello. The lobster raviolo is amazing and was perfect with the suggested white burgundy. The table side Dover Sole was elegantly presented and just perfect and the sauce was delicious. The service was outstanding. Friendly and attentive. Knowledgable and professional. The live music was the perfect touch. This continues to be our favorite restaurant. Lovely.

My husband and I love this place. The chef Julian is Soo incredibly creative! Everything is always a great adventure there. Can’t wait for a little warmer weather to sit outside.
