   Food was delicious. Service was poor. We sat at 6pm. Placed order for drinks promptly. Server checked on us twice, but then went MIA - we had to request she come over to take our dinner order - finally did at 6:45. Only checked on us once during dinner.

   This was my second reservation-which should tell one how much I enjoyed my first experience. Carlos did his usual of greeting and making everyone feel welcomed he took the time to come to our table to let us know that our third guest who was lost was in the parking lot and would arrive momentarily. Marlena was very much on point in providing us with the recommended menu selections for the night, as well, answering all questions presented and she was very attentive making sure that she would stop by our table to see if we not only was enjoying our meal but did we need anything .,as well. The food is not only appealing when presented but most importantly the Taste is well worth it. Myself and another guest had the Burger du Jour-Wow! it was so good and enough to take home for later. The third guest had the Orange Stuffed Roughy which she thoroughly enjoyed and the Stuffed Cubanelle Peppers and Arancini di Riso was delicious. But of course we had cocktails and they were a great compliment with our meals. This is definitely a hidden gem and I'm glad that I took the time to explore this during Restaurant Week! I've have been spreading the word to others looking for a new dining experience.

   We had a wonderful evening at Taste with friends. Everything was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed the Orange Roughy special!

   It was great to introduce Taste to people who have not been there before. Taste is a hidden gem that has never disappointed us. Gnocchi, Scallops, Chicken Marsala, and Airline Chicken left each of us feeling very satisfied. Service was attentive and efficient. Can’t wait to go back!

   I looked forward to dining at Taste, since it had been several years since I dined there, and it was a celebratory moment. My party number was reduced from my reservation due to unforseen circumstances, leaving only two. I waited too long, at least ten plus minutes, before my server came to offer beverages besides water and see what we wanted from the menu. If it was not for the anticipation of a great dining experience with good food, I would have left before the waiter came to the table due to the wait. While making menu selections our server confirmed they make mock cocktails that are fruity. I did not complain when my mocktail did not taste of anything sweet nor fruity, just an observance. All three courses from beginning to end were delightful and delicious. The ambiance was great however the noise level was moderate. A couple at the table adjacent to ours had the remainder of their entrees boxes and I observed their server handed it to them in a bag sealed and stapled. My server did not place the remainder of my entrees in a bag, it was placed on top of the table, however my server promptly provided a bag when asked. The couple that dined next to me had a woman which appeared to have a look of tolerant disgust when glancing over while we dined. It seemed she was appalled that she was sitting so close to people of color, black people. I did not let that bother me, just an observance that we should all enjoy our dining experiences with delight regardless of the race of anybody else. I observed my server appeared more jovial while interacting with the party that sat on my right hand side. My server did not laugh, joke, nor smile as much in comparison. My server willingly answered my questions at the conclusion of my meal with recommendations on a return visit with optimism, showing promise for an improved experience whenever I dine again.

   The experience journey began the moment we entered the doors greeted by Carlos-who was exceptional and made my guest and I feel like we were at home-very relaxing and engaging. He escorted us to our table and offered me a complimentary cocktail for my birthday since dessert was part of the three course meal. I chose the Mistake Martini and it was fabulous , my first and I'll definitely have this again! OJ was our server and he was vey efficient and answered whatever question that we asked. The Arancini di Riso--Excellent! B.B.Q Ribs-tender falling of the bone and the sauce-Excellent Lemon Vanilla Bean Cheesecake was the icing on the Cake-Great Evening! My guest states the Caesar Salad was fresh and crisp-Duck au Vin delicious-plate cleaned. Will definitely keep on the Top 10 List

   We gone to Taste many times & have never had a bad dinner. Some of our favorites menu items are lamb chops, veal & scallops.

    Very nice and attentive service. Bread would have been nice to sop up our excellent sauces.
