   Fantastic as always. Best restaurant in San Antonio right now. The pate was perfect. And I have to say the strawberry cake was the best strawberry cake I’ve ever had. It looks like a sponge cake that may be dry. But it’s SOOOO moist and perfect. Not too sweet wonderfully balanced. I’d go back just for that.

   Another exceptional meal at this fantastic restaurant. Food, drinks and service were outstanding. The variety on the menu is quite wonderful. Our favorite place for special occasions or when we're in need of a really great meal.

   It may have been an off night, but had to send several dishes back for being undercooked. The restaurant sent things back to the table and some items had to go back again. They didn’t adjust the bill or even send over a dessert as an apology. We have had good experience there, but we will probably make that our last visit there.

   As usual, our dinner was beautifully prepared and delicious. We had Pork Belly, Escargot, Beef Wellington, Chateaubriand (tenderloin) Lobster Mac & Cheese, Dirty Fries Poutine, Chocolate Cake, and Strawberry Cake. Everything was wonderful.

   It had been a few months since we had visited Tardif's. I don't know why we stayed away so long. From the time we walked in until the moment we left, we were treated like old friends. The service, the food and the atmosphere was spectactular. I've already made a reservation for our next visit.

    Fantastic experience for my birthday dinner. First time, but had heard the rumors and reputation. Did not disappoint. Food was fantastic. Great atmosphere. Not as loud as you might expect for open room. Service was great. Only gave 4 stars as main entree took a bit long to come out on this evening. But it was worth the wait. Otherwise staff was very attentive. Would highly recommend.
